WOW, this was by far the worst trip I have ever been on. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I am just writing on my experience at the park.

First, I arrived at the park around 9:00 on wed. and we were going to wait to get in at 9:30, but decided that since the wild safari opened at nine, we would do that first.

Unfortunately, The wild safari was the best part of the trip. The animals were really cool and it was suprising how many of the animals werent in any sort of containment. To drive through the entire thing took us about an hour. This is what really suprised me because I thought it would be much shorter. After getting a bunch of great pictures, we exited the safari and went to the park.

When we first entered, everything was looking good except for a few things...kingda ka was not running, and neither was a bunch of other rides. I figured that, hey, I had two whole days to ride KK and I wasnt planning on going first thing anyhow. So, I get into the park with my season pass and decide to go to nitro and batman first. Both were running and it was dead in this area of the park. At this time, Batman was a walk-on so I got a ride in. It really suprised me and is now my favorite invert. After that, I headed over to Nitro. It was also a walk-on. I got in the back and I was going up the lift hill at just after 10 in the morning. At this point, I was really excited because of how great this whole trip was going to be. Nitro turned out to be AWESOME! It is my second favorite ride only behind Apollos Chariot.

After getting off Nitro, I just figured that I would get on later so we decided to just kind of walk around and ride what we wanted to. This is where it started to get hairy. As we were walking around, the sun was hot and hardly anything was open. Just after Nitro, we went on Skull Mountain. That was pretty bad. The whole ride was pitch dark even though there was a sign that warned of strobe lights. The park was getting busy by now and we decided to get onto the log flume. The line was about 20 min. long, but we decided to wait. The ride was rough and I didnt enjoy it much.

We left the ride and the park was now starting to get busy. We headed over to Medusa because it was one of the few things open. I rode in front and really didnt like it much. It was much rougher than I expected for a B&M.

The park was now swarming with people complaning about KK not being open and the place was really getting packed. This was about the time when we realized just how much was closed. Afterwards we counted and over 20 rides were closed at any given time on the two days I was there. We kind of just wandered around all day not really riding anything. By noon, the shortest lines were over two hours for any rollercoaster and a ride like the dodgems was over 45 min.

This was all thanks to the ride closings. Just a list of the coasters and a few of the other rides that were closed at one point or another:

Nitro
Batman
B&R Chiller
Runaway mine train
Kingda Ka
Superman
GASM
Rolling Thunder
most of the water rides
buccaneer
parachute jump tower

pretty much anything you could imagine.

This killed the whole trip. The second day that I was there, It was even busier, and all of the same rides were closed. I got one ride in on thursday and that was nitro. There was no way that I was leaving and not riding nitro again. The line at guest relations was over 40 min. long on both days.

Since I got season passes, the park will do nothing to refund any thing that we paid for. They were offering some people free one day passes. There was this guy there we talked to in line at guest relations. He took his kids out of school and him and his wife wanted to ride KK. Guess what he got...two passes to go to the front of the line of the ride of their choice. That's PATHETIC! What the lady told us to do was to buy a VIP pass. 70 bucks. She said that If we bought them, it would help.

They wouldnt give us anything. We were

Wow, sorry to hear your experience was so horrible. Definately the first truly bad report I've heard on GADv this season so far.

But if that many rides were closed, I'm sure that would be enough to give anyone a sour experience.

I also dont know if this is something bad for KK. I got an email on thursday concerning the friday morning season passholder rides. It said that due to KK not being open, season passholders could get on Batman,Nitro, and Stuntmans freefall one hour early.

I dont know if KK was closed before wed. when I went, but if it was closed 3 full days in a row, couldnt this mean something for the future of the ride?

That's terrible. In situations like this, I think parks should lower their admission prices. Since that's probably never going to happen, there's not much you can do.

This would be the reason why Kingda Ka was down all of that time Breakdown

I figured the park would get like this once it got really busy. The place just can't take huge crowds. This is exactly why I'm not going at all this summer and waiting for some weekday in September or something for my next visit. I got a whole lot of visits in from March until a few weeks ago so that is good for me. I knew the good times wouldn't last that long. Sorry to hear about how crappy it was. At least they have flowers now I'll keep myself ignorant and try to remember the good times that I have had this season and stay away for a while so that I don't get any bad ones.

The shows made up the majority of what we did there. Even though they were busy, at least they were open and you didnt have to wait.

Oh, that sucks, man...

I've never been to a Six Flags park, but if I ever do, I am going to be very nervous. It's gotta suck to pay to get into a park with no rides open

The magic show was pretty cool. Unfortunately, you could tell how the tricks were done, but it was entertaining so thats what matters. The dolphin show was good, but just like all the other shows, it was really short. About 15 min. I also saw the stunt show which was pretty bad. The people kept falling down.

The longest show was the magic show and it was just under a half an hour.

SFNE has a fantastic MAgic show it's the best show in the park. the Leathel weapon stunt show they had a cople years ago I thought was really good. I'm suprised that the shows ar this badk with so many wanabe acters livign in NYC.

no, a couple water skiers were introduced and they were supposed to cross, but one went through and the other fell over hard. nobody saw it because it was before they went in front of the stands. Thats why im figurin that it was an accident.

WOO HOO! Victory! My mother wrote a letter into some SF head honchos and we got a phone call today saying how sorry they were. As it turns out, we'll be recieving about 320 some bucks in the mail soon as they are refunding our season passes.

That's great of them... shows that the management has some good respect for their customers in that area. Impressive.

We're still a little unsure. We called the head of guest relations four times being told that we would be called back before we went to higher ups. We still never heard from anyone actually from the great adventure park.
