...here's a report of my trip to Orlando. Disney was a bit of a disappointment, with all of the crying, screaming, and arguing little kids, but Universal more than made up for it. That place is amazing, and my favorite place on earth. On my trip, I spent two days at Disney, three days at Universal, and a day at the Kennedy Space Center. I tried to put the topic of the paragraph as the first word, so you don't have to read the whole thing. So...where do I start...

We checked into the Hard Rock Hotel at about ten o'clock on Thursday night. The hotel is awesome, and I recommend it for anyone planning on visiting the Universal theme parks. The theme of the hotel is great, the pool is nice, the service is excellent, the location is perfect, and the special line priveledges save a ton of time. Oh, and the hotel's restaurant The Kitchenis freaking amazing. Now, onto the parks...

I woke up Friday morning to the blue sky and sunshine of Orlando - an extreme change from the single digit temperatures and multiple feet of snow in Rochester, NY. I grabbed a muffin and was on my way to the park. First ride of the day was, of course, the Hulk. I don't understand why everyone at IOA Central says that this thing is unbearably rough. If anything, the flat spins cause a bit of head banging in the back row, but seriously, you'd have to be pretty weak to find that unbearable. The ride is still my #1 coaster, and it might stay that way forever. Everything about it is perfect. Even after riding TTD, I still find the launch intense. I probably rode Hulk 10-15 times during my trip, and I could've ridden it many more times without becoming bored. Hulk rules, especially at night.

After Hulk, I rode Doom. Not real intense, but the air at the top is insane. It was worth the two minute wait that the hotel key gave us, but I probably wouldn't have waited any longer than ten minutes for it.

Spiderman was next. There's nothing that I can say about this ride that hasn't already been said. Just like the name says, it's an amazing adventure. I actually liked it more on this trip than I did on my last trip. All the effects worked except for the Hobgoblin fire effect, but I was fine with that.

Ripsaw Falls didn't have a line on any of my days at the park, and I rode it between twenty and thirty times. It just never gets old. The theming is great, and the final drop is unbelievable. I could type pages and pages about how much I love this ride, but I won't bore you with that. I rode Dudley once on my first day, and then rode Popeye (which was awesome) and Jurassic Park. The Ultrasaur on the River Adventure seems to be broken, along with the gates in the beginning, but the pipes at the top of the hill were working.

I then got some JP pizza and sat down in front of the Discover Center, watching the Hulk. Truly one of the most relaxing moments of my trip.

I walked around and took in the scenery while I digested my lunch, and then took a few rides on Dueling Dragons. I recommend the front row on Ice and the back row on Fire, as you can then enjoy the castle wall of Ice and the airtime of the hill on Fire. It was not crowded on the days that I spent at the park, so they opened up the "Re-Ride" doors. Needless to say, I couldn't get enough.

The Mystic Fountain is funny, and my family was entertained by it for about a half an hour. We would've sat there all day if we didn't have dinner reservations and had other things to do. We saw Poseidon's Fury, which was excellent, and then rode the three Seuss Landing rides. I think that the Cat in the Hat is better than Pooh and Peter Pan at the Magic Kingdom.

After a couple more rides on Hulk, Spiderman, and about ten more rides on Dudley, we left the park and went to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner.

On our second day, we started at Universal Studios and then hopped over to IOA toward the end of the day. As soon as we entered the park, me and my sister ran to Revenge of the M

I really wish I could spend more than a week in Orlando this summer.

Now that I'm back from Florida, I really miss it. I can't wait to go back in a few years.
