We decided to spend 1/2 a day at Hershey Park on the way home to North Carolina. I have wanted to ride the Wildcat and the Lightning Racer so we made it happen. Hershey Park is very large, almost a disney scale. It was very crowded even for a week day. One plus is that they have trams to take you from the parking lot to main entrance. I was very suprised to find there was very little wait for any ride. I think it is because they have a lot of attractions. They have a lot of places to eat. although I found the food prices to be a little steep. The park was very clean and older areas of the park had plenty of shade.

****Wildcat****
A very nice wooden twister with great speed and tons of laterals. A very refreshing modern wooden coaster that scores high in the thrill department. I really liked this coaster and would love to ride it many more times.

****Lightning Racer****
WOW a real racing coaster that actually races. The trains are a work of art. They look like trains from 100 years ago and are as comfortable as you're living room couch. This coaster is off-the-hook for a racer. Great airtime, laterals and crossovers blew me away. You get some nice fly-bys and crossovers with the other train. Very exciting and worth the price of admission. Definately my second favorite racer after the Racer at Kennywood. A modern wooden masterpiece. My kids also loved this woodie. Don't miss it.

****Chocolate World****My Kid's Favorite
A cool air conditioned ride that shows you how chocolate is made. At the end they give you a free small Hershey bar. My kids said this was thier favorite.

I would have loved to spend a couple of days in the park. I look forward to returning sometime soon. I did get to ride a couple of really good woodies though.

so you didnt ride any coasters in the front of the park? (comet, great bear, looper)

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Comet was my favorite ride at the park (Followed closely by Wildcat). Sounds like you had a good time. Did you get a chance to ride Great Bear, Comet and SuperDooperLooper?

I only rode the Wildcat and the Lightning Racer. I let the kids pick the rest.
