What's your favorite type of flat ride??(the trade name)
You can also choose to put the ride name with the park it comes from as an alternative choice.

Mine would be a top spin. I have never ridden one until this year, and i really think its a lot of fun.

I like bumper cars in general, but I'd believe that Spiderman qualifies as a flat ride, so Ill choose it
If not, Ill just stick with scramblers.

The Kangaroo at Kennywood was a blast. The ejector airtime on that thing is great

Top spins are very fun too. PCW's Cliffhanger ride is the best that I've ridden, since it incorporates gewtting drenched with water into the ride.

zippers are alot of fun but theres no way it can beat a s&s power combo power tower. Or one of those shorter tower rides like the one at Sfeg

A tower ride isn't really a flat

Of course you would agree with him, he defended you

I dont think tower rides are flats because, well, they go up. Granted, a lot of flats have vertical movement, but not like a tower.

Yeah, I'd classify them with sky coasters, sling shots, etc.

Power Towers like the ones at CP (what yfz was refering too) ARENT included in the database- all of the ones at flatrides.com are all different, generally slow-moving non-freefall drops

Oh - should've mentioned - the Flying Scooter is the manufacturer's name for the ride, of which the Flyer is one. No more confusion...

I like inverters.

No, really I like Huss Top Spins, not zamperla wind shears, those things spin you to fast and it kills the experience!

I wanna go on a Giant Top Spin (outdoor)

I loved the old Conestoga at Hersheypark, I'm pretty sure it was a Rainbow and they ran it full blast - tons of air and what not. It was like a tower ride.

If tower rides are included, then the Six Flags Air Racers were my favorit, though they are not with us anymore (damn Acrophobia...>), but I still put towers in a different category than flats.

A well greased spinning tea cup ride can't be beat. It's both a ride and an upper body workout.

If every Flying Scooter was like Knoebels' Flyers I'd agree with Adriahna. However, most of the Flying Scooters I rode this summer pale in comparison (Lake Compounce, PKD, Seabreeze, Holiday World, HP). Only Indiana Beach's "Air Crow" was a quality ride.

I love TopSpins...to me, it's the most intense flat ride out there. The only flat I think could compare is the TopScan (specifically, Shockwave @ PCW), which is probably one of the "craziest, most intense" rides ever made.

I like Chaos at HersheyPark and you have to give props to Hang Time at Dorney. Revolution and The Claw are the same rides, and are so boring once you get going on them.
