Well, today I went to IOA. I spent the night at the hard rock hotel (highly recommended) so I could skip all the lines with my room key. Due to some heavy rainfall about a half hour before the park opened, and the fact that it was superbowl sunday, I never actually used my roomkey because EVERY SINGLE RIDE WAS A WALK ON!!!!!!! After the park opened, it stopped raining for the rest of the day, and the entire park was practically empty.

Dueling Dragons- Front row wait- 5 min wait. All other rows- walk on. The front would be a walk on too but they were only running one train today. I finally got to duel! When I went on ice they were dueling but when I went on fire they sent them seperatly, which is more than I got last time.
Hulk- Wait time= same as Dueling Dragons. It looked alot worse since the last time I went there, It needs a new paint job.
Dr Doom- Walk on. My first tower ride (it was broken last time I went). I've never been so scared at before a ride (Im afraid of heights) but it was really fun and I rode it alot. The anticipation before the launch is unbearable!

2 Questions:
Who built Doctor Dooms Fearfall?
And, more importantly, has anybody heard what is going on with Dudley Do-Right? There was heavy construction on the ride today. The ride was removed from the park map, there are tall fences to block your view, and there is a crane. Now, a sign said seasonal maitanance, but if it was just maitanance why do they need a crane? I got a picture of the construction and it looked like they were doing alot, I'll try to post the picture later. Does anybody know the details of whats going on?

Dr. Doom's Fearfall could be an Intamin S&S Tower.

I hope things are all right with Dudley DoRight - I've been meaning to check that out next time I'm in the area.

It's either one or the other, and by looking at the S&S website, you can see that the ride was infact built by them.

IOA Central says that Ripsaw Falls is just getting something done with its' drop. It should be open in a few weeks.

I read somewhere that there is track by the ride that is similar to the track used on JTA.

I hope they don't ruin DD's drop. Great drop.

That drop was pretty steep. Perhaps someone got hurt and they have to make it a more gradual drop.

There you go. You cant see the crains, but they're off to the left. I don't know what they're doing, but it's pretty obvious some major renovation or remodeling is going on

Let's hope that they're just replacing the track. What worries me is that they took it off the park map

Yeah, I didn't notic until the car ride home. The park map looked kinda odd with a big grassy field in the middle of Toon Lagoon

Anyone know where there is a pic of the map?

They do probably because the ride won't be open for a while.

Taking it off the map is pretty scary, but tacoking is probably right. It won't be open for awhile, so what's the point in telling guests it's there when it's not? Dudley was closed the last time I was there too. Sometime in 2002 I think.
