I'm going to Cedar Point over memorial day weekend. I know this is probably going to be crowded, but this is the only time I can go. If it's a little more crowded than usual, then thats okay. Does anyone know if I would find UNUSUALLY large crowds on saturday and sunday (memorial day is monday)?

Yeah, I hate to say it, but you're probably going to get stuck with larger crowds than usual. I've only been to CP in August, so I'm not positive, but from my experience at other parks, Memorial Day weekend is usually quite crowded.

Not really, schools aren't out yet. Sundays are best for crowds, the park is virtually empty then. Don't worry about anything, go and have some fun, it's CP after all, and you'll definitely get to experience some of the best rides out there.

If you're looking for discounts on tickets, food and souvenirs, call 1-800-BESTFUN for a free Cedar Point Getaway Guide. Have fun!

Surprising I found the lines short at CP back on Labor Day weekend 2001. I expected lines from hell.

Memorial Day weekend 2003 I expected lines from hell at SFGAdv - but I got lucky it rained

Right - actually on the CP website they specifically said "contrary to popular belief, holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day do not draw huge crowds." Obviously it'll be somewhat crowded, but I think that in general lines in May are always better than lines in July or August.

I'm staying at Hotel Breakers, so I'm going to get into the park a half hour early. Have any of you entered early? Are MF and TTD open during that half hour?

I have no idea, I've never been there, but have fun! When I go, I'd like to stay at Breakers Express. Be sure to write a TR when you get back, and enjoy the rides!

there were open early when I was there in May 2004. Although TTD had technical problems one of the two days
