Not every TOGO coaster bangs the hell out of your head. UltraTwister @SFAW is an awesome ride, and if you get the front row, its pain free.

I really don't find drop towers that scary. Also, I don't find launch coasters that scary.
I think the scariest thrill rides are really tall coasters (gigacoasters and hypercoasters). Anyone who has been on a hyper can recall how scare they were the first time they went on one. The thing is, the long trip up is very freaky and the SCARIEST THING is when you come to the top and you can't see the track in front of you because it's so steep. Oh well, I can't wait 'til I ride MF in the spring. Lol.

I want to go on X-Scream atop Stratosphere Tower but I know I'll be apprehensive the whole time. It is one thing to be that high but hanging off the side of the building is frightening.

I love skycoasters. They are by far the scariest think next to being locked in a cage with a dunk iraqi gunman.....
It's so scary at the top. Especialy the one at kennywood becuz your over top of the bridge and the lake And all the little paddle boats are right under you. Also when you get to the top of sky coasters the drop you like five feet as the cable locks in place. Geez those creep me out.

X-Scream looks like it would make me pee my pants.
One ride I seriously thought was going to be traumatic was the Slingshot at Seaside Heights. It turned out to be more fun than scary, but the anticipation I felt waiting for the launch was intense. I'm surprised I haven't seen more written about Slingshots on this board. It's a great concept.
The only time my fear of a ride threatened to turn into panic was on the Zipper at Coney Island. That thing is evil. The swinging cars of the Wonder Wheel also scare the crap out of me.

You dig up a topic that is nearly two years old.
It hasn't been posted in, in over a year.
And you mis-spell your answer.

I'd have to say the scariest rides for me are drop towers, and old rickety rides, like Quassy's Monster Mouse and carnival Ferris wheels. I have been on Star Blaster, and the launch is scary sometimes, because the speaker that counts down how long until the launch, is always messed up. Also, I hate the stomach dropping sensation, and I'm thinking of doing Dragon's Descent at Funtown U.S.A. on Monday. Is there an extreme stomach dropping sensation? I have done Star Blaster, and it is one of my favorite rides ever. Should I ride Dragon's Descent, because I'm not afraid of heights.

Any spinning ride that spins you like crazy b/c I don't ride too many of them at all. They just make me too dizzy when I get off of them. Good thing that I'm not the nauseating type.

I don't mind spinning rides, and I don't get dizzy.

Kingda Ka. It is a thrill and nothing more - especially since you never know if it is going to break down while you are on it
