Xtremefan, is Six Flags Magic Mountain the only park that you've ever been too? Anyway, I'd say Raging Bull or (I know that I'm going to get made fun of for this one) the River King Mine Train at Six Flags St. Louis. If you sit in the very back. I going to ask that you don't make fun of me on this one unless you've been on River King Mine Train in the back car. That should disqualify most of you!

Can't argue with you there. Never been to Six Flags St. Louis. I'm still sticking with my decision that Apollo's Chariot is the best for airtime.

I thought that S:ROS at SFNE and AC would be dominating this topic... very interesting how Magnum is most people's choice over S:ROS and AC

AC @ BGW has teh best airtime on any coaster, anywhere, that i've ever ridden. It's got both floater airtime and ejector airtime.

IMO, AC wins for the best type of airtime. However the Phoenix has the most amount of airtime on any coaster I've ridden.

Wild Thing (VF) has nearly 30 seconds of airtime total, its great, but they started making it kid oriented and added brakes

DD and Montu have awsome airtime, just not alot of it. Montu coming into the MCBR and the bunny hill on Fire dragon. But none compair to the all mighty AC

THIS ONE IS SIMPLE!!!!

-Superman Ride of Steel at SFNE is an airtime machine. Nothing else can compare. I loved Montu and DD, but they're not even close when it comes to airtime.

I love the air on Magnum XL-200 and I've never been on AC.

S:ROS at SFNE is tops for airtime in my book

Definetely SROS at SFNE. The drop is incredible! the seats are so crammed together that it is hard to tighten your restraints all the way.

Yes, the drop is steep, but it is only for just a short time.

Like I said before, SROS at sfne is by far the best steel for airtime. There is not one moment on that ride where you are not either flying out of your seat or being pushed back in. The airtime over the hills is incredible, and no other coaster can compare.

If you did not answer SROS, then you simply have not ridden it.

I'm not going to laugh because now that I've been to both parks I'll admit I got more air in River King Mine Train than Raging Bull.

After riding more coasters since I posted here last time I'll throw out the following as having the best airtime:

S:ROS, AC, Nitro, Magnum XL-200, Phantom's Revenge

Although Millennium Force's my #1 coaster, I'm going w/my #2 coaster, Phantom's Revenge b/c the 1st 2 drops' airtime's crazy & the bunny hills' airtime at the end's just insane & stupendous. It's also so smooth as it rips you out of your seat for floater & major ejector air.

My number one air-time steel roller coaster so far is Steel Force, at Dorney Park. It's the only hyper-coaster I have ever been on, and it's awesome. It has tons of air-time, and has an excellent helix. The bunny hops are insane, because of the amount of air-time. Also, it has quick lines. The back seat, is the best seat.

Ok, a month ago I would said Phantom's Revenge with it's insanely violent ejector vaults. That was until I rode SROS at SFNE.

Now I've been on the other two SROS' and DL's is pretty damn good, but doesn't hold a candle to SFNEs. This ride is absolutely Two weeks later and I still can't believe someone actually engineered and built a ride this insane. Absolutely amazing. No words can describe, you MUST ride it if you haven't already.

magnum force.

Are you talking about this Magnum Force? Or are you just trying to be a pest. My money goes on the latter, because since you think the B&M is B&M, I'm sure you decided to take Magnum XL-200 and mix in a little bit of Millenium Force

I can't say that I have been on too many good airtime coasters, but the best so far would definately have to be Superman Ride of Steel at SFNE. If you throw wood into the equation though, Phoenix rocks, but I guess I will save that for the "Best Wood for airtime" thread, that I'm sure THE GAZ will think of very shortly

apollos chariot has amazin restraints for airtime and they let you leave em loose, however s:ROS at SFNE is by far the best steel for airtime out there

I agree I had Apollo at the top of my airtime list and almost at the top of my top ten until I rode S:ROS at SFNE. S:ROS is definitely the top airtime monster I've ridden. I'd love to compare Magnum one day. But has anyone ridden both Apollo and S:ROS at SFNE and think Apollo has more airtime?

I've ridden both Apollo and SROS at SFNE (both this year) and while I loved Apollo and was quite surprised that a B&M could have that much airtime, SROS' airtime is unmatched.

Magnum (which is running awesome this year), Millennium Force, Phantom's Revenge and the other SROS' are my other favorites for steel airtime and SFNE's SROS blows them all away.

I love the air time on Phantom's Revenge. I just rode it this weekend at kennywoods fright night. Those bunny hills are filled with air time.
