Dude, primogen 18 and *FreeBird*, we have alot in common because my first looper was Whirlwind too, and my first overall coaster was Phoenix. My second was HSTC, and my third was Twister.

Ever wonder what happens when your seatbelt is nonfunctional on the Skooters at Knoebels? I don't think you want to.

My first ever coaster was The Raven at Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN. I was scared to death after i rode it because i was really little and wasnt into roller coasters at all. I just rode it cuz everyone else i was with was goin to. The second was Legend. I loved it so much! After that i started to fall in love with coasters. I really dont remember my first looping coaster but it was one of them at Cedar Point...probly the Raptor.

Coasters are the highlights of theme parks. Flat rides are the supporting cast.

My first was the Laser at Dorney Park. I was about 7 years old, and I didn't want to get onto it. That was the first day that I had riden Hercules. I reluctently went on, and proceeded to cry all the way up the lift hill, then, as I stoped crying I was clutching the lapbar for dear life. After that, I went on it again without a problem, and I have liked roller coasters (now love them) ever since.

Wow, I really, REALLY rode it a lot last fall! Too bad I heard it isn't open this weekend, and may still not open for a few days (they were testing though ), because I was going to go tonight to get some innagural 2005 rides in... and that will have to wait

My Coaster Record thanks to coastercounter.com, which is a great site. Currently, I am re-doing my site a bit, making it look nice, but it will be back soon enough.

Great Bear at Hersheypark was my 1st major looper that went over 50 m.p.h. (58 m.p.h. to be exact). I was 10 yrs. old & scared to death of roller coasters back then. I rode the entire ride with my eyes closed. I felt like I've survived riding the best ride in PA back in 1999. Now I've ridden it so many times that it's starting to get kinda old.

The now defunct Black Widow at SFNE was my first actual looper, but itLs only a Arrow launched-Loop so I dunno if it really counts. My first REAL looper was Kumba. I was ten when I first rode it and I enjoyed it much more.

My first was the good 'ol Lazer Loop at Kennywood.....I didn't ride it until its last year there. It actually freaked me out as a kid and I never wanted to ride it. Kinda funny considering the coaster monster that I am now!

Yeah, just like coaster05 being one of the original Flashback riders. Nothing wrong with being around when Walt Disney started Disneyland, LOL!

Oh, pleeze! I was an oldster by then. Why, I remember my pappy taking me to the grand opening of Steeplechase Park at Coney Island! Back then, we didn't have fancy roller coasters and such. They just dipped your behind in grease and and pushed you down a hill....

Wow! Thats wild! LOL, I remember looking at that old footage of Coney Island and one ride was just sick--the one where everyone laid on spinning circles being tossed to and fro.

Yeah, I saw that one on a PBS special. Freaky. They said people got bruised and stuff. There was also a ride (don't remember which one) that ended with the people walking on to a stage to be laughed at.

I've been riding longer than I can remember but I can guarantee my first looping coaster was the Screamer at Boblo Island. My first coaster ever was either that, Sky Streak, or the Nightmare at Boblo Island. My family used to go there all the time because we lived near the boats that take you there. I sure do miss it but now we go to Cedar Point every year . Does anybody know where these coasters are now? Please let me know.

Thunderhawk at Geauga Lake, then it was Serial Thriller, of course.

*Edit, whoops, forgot I already posted mine in this thread like two years ago*.

Mine was the Rock "N" Roller Coaster at Disney's MGM Studios. The ride's launch was insane, and I didn't feel the loops. My first outdoor one was the Canobie Corkscrew at Canobie Lake Park.
