...years for me. A guess it's a 'dry spell' of new coaster/park experiences.

Haven't been to a new park in who knows how many years (hopefully I can change that in 2014), and the only new coasters I have been on have been the new ones in Florida - Cheetah Hunt and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.

Though I am quite pleased with the updates Universal has been getting. The previously mention Rip Ride Rockit, Transformers, both Harry Potter expansions, Springfield, and what have you.

Anyone else been taking it slow (on purpose or not) with new park/coaster adventures?

I slowed down from the pace I was on between 2006-2008. That was insane. But i still get about 30 new credits a summer, and I am about out of parks in the US

I too have only been on one new coaster in the past three years, the euro fighter up the road that I genuinely cannot remember the name of. I just lost interest - a combination of being busy with work and school, being burnt out (like 300 new-to-me coasters in 06-07), having to start to pay for my own travels, becoming legal to drink, and finally some really off putting behavior in the enthusiast community.

I think going to parks can still be fun, but I hated going to a park and criticizing every little thing.

I miss the old TPC though. This was the first site i registered for back in 2001 at the height of the coaster building craze. Great times.

Joe woo hoo. I still love this place, wish it could find just a few loyal members to talk to.

Yep I really try and check in, so I can at least answer people. We could still have good conversations with about 20 of us. Glad you are still riding and stuff.

Yeah I don't have a Facebook account or Twitter account so I'm really out of touch with a lot of people now.

Wow, I haven't been around here in years.

I've also been in a dry spell for theme parks, only really going to the same ones for several years now. Seriously, I went to more carnivals last year than amusement parks. lol

Nice to see some life here as well. now if we can get the data basses updated.

The last few years have been really slow for me. money just hasn't been there. and locally only a few new attraction have been added. only new coasters have been those closest to me.
