What are your thoughts on the giant swings? I've heard mixed opinions from enthusiasts saying they aren't intense enough for thrill seekers and too tall for families to ride, making them a mediocre addition to the park.

Personally, I find that to be true at parks like Cedar Point that already have multiple rides over 300 feet tall, but at a normal sized park (Valleyfair! for example / rumored 2013 addition) it's a very good addition because it towers over everything. The height is still intimidating for a normal park guest.
