Awesome video, but very sad. Aparently, a movie is currently being shot at the site as well. According to the SF messageboards, the park will NOT be demoed in January, as there's not enough moneyhttp://unofficialjazzlandinfo.yuku.com/topic/1988/t/Park-Set-for-Demolition-in-January-2011.html in the city's budget:

It's pretty intriguing stuff. There are a number of photo collections online (I'm sure we've spoken of them on TPC) featuring abandoned parks - Japan and Russia come to mind. It's just terribly sad to see the silent remnants of a place that brought a hell of a lot of happiness...

The video was interesting. very well shot. looked like an intro for a horror movie.

The city has come out saying that the park is not scheduled for demolition.
