It was mentioned towards the end of last season to get the big bunch of people that are in the area to meet. So why not try now? How about we set something up for Opening Day at Dorney Park this year? If anyone is interested, let's all get together and enjoy Voodoo and some good old fashioned TPC fun.

I'd definitely be down for meeting up with you & fellow TPC members on Opening Day. For once, I can actually go to a park on my own that's not a long distance ride. Besides, I can't wait to ride Voodoo & enjoy Talon, Hydra, Steel Force, & much more for a whole new year.

If I decide to get a Platinum Pass this year (likely) I'll try to make it. I'll also be at Knoebels opening weekend but hanging with family.

I was going to try to set something up for Knoebels, but I don't really feel like making the drive there until Flying Turns is open. I'll probably just wait until PPP to make the journey to Elysburg. I figured that Dorney would be a good mid-point for everyone within the area. Plus, I got a Cedar Fair pass for Christmas. And I was there when Hydra opened to the public, so I might as well start to make a little tradition out of going for opening day new coaster additions.

Hope you can make it Larry You can see my new hippie look

Well, at Eastcoaster Dorney did announce that they are doing away with Halloweekends this year and are going a more "edgy" route with Halloween Haunt. Apparently there will be more scares on the midways and scarier haunted houses. I'm sure it won't live up to other Halloween events, but it might actually be an upgrade for the older crowd. Though, I just feel like they should stay family oriented because that is what people have gotten acustomed to.

They can only go up on their Halloween event. But I would say the park over all was a nice one with some good rides.

It has become a "last one out the door please turn out the light" site.

Seriously it is just sad to come here anymore and remeber what it was like.

That's a good question considering Larry has bailed to go get the Vaper Trail credit

Vaper Trail!!!

You know, I live not 15 minutes from the park and have never been on the coaster.

The plan is to be there at opening and bail at around 4. I am going to camp the night further north and head to Knoebels on Sunday.

Whether for Saturday is looking good, but Sunday looks like rain, followed by rain, and then more rain

I was planning on doing the same thing, but then I have something to do around 2PM. I'll see if I can work something out though so that I can meet up with you Nathan. I was thinking 4-close myself. I'll email you and maybe we can work something out.

Hey Now! I'm not baling for the Vapor Trail credit - I bailed because VooDoo is not open yet.

When VooDoo does open, that is the day I will go the Dorney this year. However, before I arrive at Dorney I'll get the Vapor Trail credit that particular morning.

I have a Busch Season Pass this year so this is the year I finally go to Sesame Place.

Excuses, excuses ;-)

I already have the VooDoo credit. 'Course, it wasn't called VooDoo at the time.

I haven't been to Dorney in a few years, it will be nice to return and be disappointed that it is not the same as when I was a kid and the coaster was The Coaster. But Becky will have fun.
