Apparently after all of the rumors I have heard about Ripsaw Falls getting lap bars, they finally have. I can't think of any other log flume that has lap bars. Anyway, what do you think of this (especially those who have been on Ripsaw Falls since the lap bars were added)? Also, those logs look very cramped now.

America sucks. that is what I think. I see more everyday why the Alveys always say foreign parks are better.

Very surprising that the lawyers allowed lap bars. I heard a rumor that some Disney lawyers once considered lap bars or OTSR restarints for Splash Mountain until another lawyer said "What about if the boat capsizes?"

Yeah, this is just a pile of crap. Corporate parks will not stop until rides just aren't worth riding anymore.

Lapbar on a logflume? That's pretty dumb! Why not just a velcro seatbelt if they want to add a restaint.
Speaking of international views on ride safety; I always liked Europe's view on gaurd rails around flatrides...there are none! People are supposed to know better than to walk into the path of an operating ride.

Yeah, I saw the photos the other day. Ugh...I guess I will see how it rides now next month. Hope I can fit my 6'2" self in those seats, though.
