A few days ago, Boulder Dash was closed in the middle of the day. There were problems with the track bending and both the Yellow and Red trains got damaged. Now yes I have no article proof, but I was talking about it to the one of the Boudler Dash mechanics in the break room. I was told that one train would be able to be repaired in house, but the other was damaged pretty badly. Also I was told the track bent at one of the parts where the new track met some old track.
Ok this is why I didn't put this in the rumors section. Today I saw the PTCs from Hersheys Wild Cat doing test runs.
I was able to snap a few camera phone pictures.

Any Thoughts?

Great to hear they already got the train on the track. Is Lake Compounce planning on keeping the train after this season? Anyway, the ride definintely would be different with headrests.

I'm pretty sure they are going to chop the headrests off.

Good to hear. Those headrests really obstructed my view during my various Wild Cat rides. However if those trains ride as well on Boulder Dash as they did on the Wild Cat, the ride still should be as fantastic as it usually is. What have been people's opinions of Boulder Dash with the new trains?

I was on the Anchor Bay water slide today, and I was watching Boulder Dash go by, it seamed to be going pretty fast, there was still a lot of air, or at least the wheels were leaving the track. It seamed to be running well.

Glad Boulder Dash still is providing great rides. But really almost any train placed on that could provide an air-time filled ride.
