What are your 3 favorite parks outside of the United States and why?

I haven't been to any foreign parks, but the three that look the best are Europa Park (they are loaded with steel coasters), Alton Towers (always head nothing but positives about their highly-ranked steel coasters), and Blackpool Pleasure Beach (large selection of rides like their classic wooden coasters and steel coasters).

Now that many people went on the Spain trip, and a couple did add ons and UK last year, I hoping some people post here.

So yea, random bump!

OK I'll go.

1 - Alton Towers - another gorgeous park with excellently run flats and Nemesis

2 - Liseberg - just a unique and beautiful park with one awesome coaster

3 - Phantasialand - insane theming, great rides and two top notch coasters (Black Mamba and Winjas)

I also really liked Blackpool, Port Aventura, Parque Warner Madrid and Tusenfryd, but you only asked for 3 parks.

1. Alton Towers- in my top 5 all time
2. Liseberg- see Larry
3. Port Aventura- Beauty the likes of Disney.

Larry I am surprised that you gave honorable mention to Warner, but not Aventura?

Chessington deserves extra props for me also.

1. Blackpool Pleasure Beach

2. Alton Towers

3. Paramount Canada's Wonderland

I haven't been to any international park yet, but if I had to make a choice towards which park to go to, I'd choose one of the three above based on what I've found in my research about them. Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the nostalgic beach scenario with Pepsi Max Big One, Grand National, Steeplechase, the wooden Wild Mouse, & many more, Alton Towers because of its extravagant theming & Nemesis & Oblivion, & finally Paramount Canada's Wonderland for their large number of flats & their coasters seem to be a lot of fun too.

Blackpool is great but Big One blows. Alton is amazing on all levels. PCW is very average in a lot of areas. Looks great though.

1- m&ds scotlands theme park

2- blackpool pleasure beach

3- codonas amusement park, scotland

m&ds theme park in scotland is number one for me and boasts having 5 rollercoasters. and presently has the worlds tallest, fastest travelling ride called the bomber mark 2.

Nobody counts Canadia as a real foreign country anyway, except for Quebec maybe.
