That's crazy! Wouldn't it be great if there was a suspended coaster that could pull off a corkscrew? I couldn't even imagine seeing one like that.

I think that the corkscrew would just break your neck.

I belive that Bat was going to have a corkscrew, but was scrapped at the last minute, because a corkscrew would be a deathtrap if the train stopped half way through.

Very interesting video. Funny to see how things got put together. the corkscrew Idea was interesting and funny since The video looked like the 70's and the first inverted didn't come out till the 80's/

Thr force required to get the whole train up and 27 other people would just kill you.

I can't belive how young Ron Toomer is in this video. It really shows the age of suspended coasters.

Sure, they didn't explode like inverted coasters, but the failure of Bat is to blame. Besides, from around '78 'til around '91, these were the coasters of the future. They had a good run.

Considering the avaliable technology at hand, as well as the various problems that did, and could have happened, I'm pleased to see that the suspended swinging inovation lasted as long as it did. I just hope that, when I have children, they'll be able to ride one.

I would enjoy seeing a suspended coaster like that, just without the corkscrew . It would kinda be like an inverted wild mouse.

I wonder if a vertical loop would have worked. It would be more withstandable.
