Think about some of the big-named companies like B&M, GCI, Intamin, Gravity Group, Setpoint, Morgan, Arrow, etc. Try to name as much as you can the worst coaster you've ever been on from each coaster company. Allow me to get my list started:

B&M - Great Bear at Hersheypark

GCI - Gwazi at Busch Gardens Europe

Intamin - Wicked Twister at Cedar Point

CCI - Sky Princess at Dutch Wonderland

Morgan - Steel Force at Dorney Park

Arrow - Trailblazer at Hersheypark

Vekoma - Bocoraca at Parque de Diversiones Dr. Roberto Ortiz Brenes

Some of my choices may seem odd to you, but if you read my reviews you'll see my opinions. I haven't been as many coasters as many of you so my choices probably might be surprising.

CCI- Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce

PTC- Wildcat at Lake Compounce

GCI- Lightning Racer (Hershey's Wildcat is the only other I've been on)

B&M- The Great Bear at Hersheypark

Arrow- Trailblazer at Hersheypark

Mack- Wild Mouse at Hersheypark

Vekoma- Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom

King Yoshi! Your list made me fall out of my chair, those are all some of my favorite coasters lol.

Why does no one like the Great Bear? From the small amount of land they had, I think it's a great coaster.

i haven't really been on enough from some of these companies to really judge but there has to be Coasters out there by CCI Sky princes, Zippin Pippin, etc that are worse then BD.

Barnstormer is a Roller skater model with better themeing. it's not a custom design.

I take it your also not much of a Hershey park fan.

As for my Choices:

B&M - Batman DK @ SFNE, i like the coaster and it's allot of fun but it's corkscrews are rough and overall not up to snuff with there other coasters.

Arrow - Canobie Corkscrew @ Canobie Lake Park, This compact version of there original corkscrew is extremely rough. The park is constantly working it and investing money into keeping it as smooth as possible but there is only so much they can do.

PTC - Wildcate @ Lake Compounce - It also isn't a terrible coaster but it's the worst of the PTC coasters I've been on.

CCI- I hate to say it but, Boulder Dash

PTC- Never been on one I hated

GCI- Lightning Racer, it wasn't bad, but Wild Cat BLEW it out of the water.

B&M- Batman the Ride @ SFGA

Arrow- Black Widow at Riverside

Vekoma- Never been on one I didn't like.

You have never been on a Vekoma you didn't like? Have you ever been on a Vekoma at all?

It was mostly just Boomerangs, and maybe a small coaster or two.

Many of the boomerang and SLC's are worthy of a I don't like Vekoma statement.

Yeah, but if they are put in the right parks. Like a the Zoomerang or Mind Eraser at SFNE, then it's ok, but boomerangs are over used.

I liked Hersheypark and it's my second favorite park behind Paramount King's Dominion. Trailblazer is the worst Arrow coaster I have been on because it doesn't match the thrill or excitement of many of their other coasters, including their corkscrews. The only other Mack coaster I have been on is Ricochet, and that is significantly better than Hershey's Wild Mouse.

So you suffer from the same problem I do You've only been on a few of the companies rides and the worst one still isn't exactly a terrible coaster.

Exactly. Boulder Dash still is a great coaster, just I have been on better. Wildcat isn't a good wooden coaster and is the worst one I have been on. The steel coasters I have been on have been from a variety of different companies so I haven't been on many from each company.

from what it looks like they did a great job with great bear. they had such a small plot of land to build on. inst that better than putting a v2 or batman or a kiddie coaster? think about what could have gone there

Personally, I would've rather had a Batman: the Ride type of B&M invert than Great Bear. It was cool & all back when I was 10 & at the time, scared to death of roller coasters, but now that I've been on it so many times, it's kinda boring. That's my opinion about Great Bear though. I've still got to respect B&M for fitting such a unique, yet effective custom layout in that small plot of land by making footers appear at oblong places.

Hey, I wouldn't blame PTC for this one. Charlie Dinn and friends completely rebuilt The Wildcat in '86 ( the entire structure was demolished then Dinn worked their "magic".) The layout was pretty typical for rides of it's time, so let's put blame where it's due.

Well I am a fan of both PTC and Charlie Dinn, and I think it's just isn't that great of a layout I love the Wild Cat with all my heart and would rather ride it more then Boulder Dash, but I can admit that Boulder is a better ride. I mean the Cyclone was also built 1927 and look how great that layout is...

B&M: Hydra (suprised THAT hasn't come up yet)
Arrow: Python
Vekoma: Whirlwind/ Bocoraca
GCI: Gwazi

Can't comment on too many other companies considering ive only been on one coaster from them or none.

How many Arrow Corkscrew models have you been on? Because I have heard that Python was one of the smoothest.

O.K. , why isnt The Ninja at SFOG the worst Vekoma on anyone's list? That one is terrible!
Great Bear Rocks! The drop is awsome!

B&M: Top Gun @ Great America (Too old and Too short)

Arrow: Viper @ SFMM (Kicked my ass)

Intiman: V2 @ Marine World (Deformed and crooked)

GCI: Roar @ Marine World (Too tame)

Vekoma: Ninja @ SFOG (Oww)

CCI: All rock!

The only coasters on my list that I HATE are Viper and Ninja. The rest just aren't as good as their newer "siblings".

Oh, and all Mack & Maurer Söhne mice are terrible.

Which Roar, I believe both have the same layout (could be wrong), but one has PTCs while the other has M-Flyers.

Roar @ Marine World (I said that already). There's nothing rong with it, it's just the tamest of the GCI's I've been on. (Thunderhead, Roar, Lightning Racers, Wildcat)

BTW, Both Roars havenearly exact layouts. The only difference is the one a SFA has traditional wood coaster trains (not Mellenium Flyers), and a portion of track on it is straight. That same portion one Roar @ Marine World has little bunny hills and slight changes in direction.

Oh, one more thing, I've only riden MW's Roar, not SFA's Roar.
