Whenever you ride a looping coaster (i.e. B&M floorless, invert, flying, Arrow corkscrew, etc), what do you think's the best inversion & the worst inversion?

The best inversion to me's the zero-g roll because of the hangtime you get going upside-down & it also feels like you're catching some air while you're in that position too. It's always disorienting for me, but a lot of fun nevertheless.

The worst inversion though's probably the corkscrew. I'm not talking about newer corkscrews from B&M or Intamin, but I'm talking like Arrow & Vekoma corkscrews because they're not fun at all. Some of them can easily be dealt with while others give you a lot of headbanging which will cause riders some pain.

I think the best inversion is either a heartline roll, or a fast cobra roll. As always, i'm talking about the newer kinds. I think the worst inversion is the same thing, an Arrow/Vekoma corkscrew. Most of their corkscrews have a banking turn before them which then turns into the first corkscrew.

That flying snake dive on Storm Runner should be a steel fan's national landmark. It's awesome. My favorite common inversion is a seated dive loop. I love the g's and speed right after that inversion. Heartline rolls are great too.

The dive loop and cobra roll on Hydra are the worst inversions. Oh wait, they aren't even really inversions

Although I don't generally go with the zero-g roll fans, my favorite individual inversion has to be Hulk's coming out of the tunnel. But if we're talking about just a particular inversion in general, it'll be the immelman/dive loop same-inversion as the best and corkscrews as the worst.

Best- JoJo roll
Worst- Arrow corkscrews

My favorite inversion is by far Hydra's JoJo roll. The hangtime during the JoJo roll is plentiful and a great experience.

Best Cobra Rolls 2 in one blast I love them Zero0G roll is a very close second.

Worst Corkscrew. The original Double Corkscrews are rough even some of the new ones can be rough.

The "Bent Cuban 8" looks fun!

I think Hydra's inversions kick ass! They're not cookie-cutter like all the other B&M loops.

The double loop monster on Ninja at SFOG is pretty awful.

BLASPHEMY - I HOPE YOU DIE

worst individual inversion is the lift hill on G-Force at Drayton Manor in England. If you want to call it a lift hill. The chain lifts you up through the apex of a loop then releases you. It sounds like a neat idea but is just blows.

I totally agree with Larry. Worst inversion ever.

The bent cuban 8(as noted on my post) is on G-Force, isn't it? Is that what that loop/lift hill is called, or is it that loop and a half on the other side of the ride?

G-Force sounds like a total fluke, apparently. I bet it will be this decade's Z-Force/Flashback.

Haha! G-Force and Z-Force

I had no idea what a bent cuban 8 was! If that's the Drayton Lift then it sucks. If it is somewhere on the ride I don't remember it because I was too traumatized from the lift hill.

I was having trouble retaining conciosness after the air was squeezed out of me on the lift. Bottom line that ride blows hard.

I tried to do a Google Search and the Bent Cuban 8 seems to be a different inversion than the lift loop.

I think this element in the forefront is the Bent Cuban 8

That would make sense, since its sort of an 8 shape, isn't it. I guess a good way to describe it, given that someone would want to know what it is, is as a contorted, tightly-coiled, sidewinder/Immelmann combonation.
