What's the best tunnel you can go through on any coaster? It's either underground (Hades, Desperado, Voyage) or just plain and simple (Legend, Loch Ness Monster, Magnum, or something).

I have no idea, given that I hardly ever visit TPR, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Raging Bull has a pretty cool tunnel, but I have to say Hulk on this one. Not many other coasters can claim to have a first hill inside a tunnel, and with a launch at that.

Magnum XL-200's final tunnel since it's a huge surprise everytime you're going down the huge drop while you're in there.

The beast tunnel is pretty cool. The tunnel on the Tennessee Tornado is cool also. The sound effects they play as you go through it add a nice effect.

I know that mine were. That was just because nobody else does a God damn thing around here.

I enjoy Tunnels on coasters Helps keep up the excitement.
The Flyer Comet's(RIP) tunnel was a blast because it hid a Bunny hop.
The Light Tunnels in Space mountain are also good.

Rye Playland's Dragon Coaster by far has the best tunnel I have been on because the dragon tunnel looks fantastic and the mist effects inside are cool. The quick drop after the tunnel is also nice.
Grizzly at Paramount King's Dominion also has an amazing tunnel. Inside that tunnel I was thrown and bounced around which was very cool.
Knoebels' Twister also has a surprise tunnel that is good.
Anaconda at Paramount also has the great underwater tunnel that is always exciting.

I thought that Kraken's tunnels were the best out of the few coasters that I have been on with tunnels.
The way the waterfalls fall into the tunnels is co cool.

Animan1 definitely wins this one. I was going to say the Incredible Hulk because of how its 1/2 lift hill/1/2 0-40 m.p.h. launch pad are both inside a dark tunnel. Also, it has a mist-filled tunnel which's always the most pleasurable way of getting a lil bit cooled off during the normal 90+ degree temperatures down there.

I've never been on the Hulk, but I've seen the lift hill and it's launch many times in videos and photos. It looks great and the mist definitely would be refreshing in that Orlando heat.

No disrespect to Hulk, it has a very cool tunnel, that's a great way to kick off a coaster. But Hades' tunnel is unforgettable. I just wrote a review and blogged about it. Not just because it's long and pitch black, but because of the speed and intensity while you're in the dark. I'll never forget seeing the 'light at the end' and realizing that we weren't right side up and we were riding on the wall. It's very disorienting.
Before Hades I would've said Voyage, particularly that triple down in the dark tunnel.
Other notable tunnels: Loch Ness, Legend, & Tenesse Tornado

I like what Yoshi said about the Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland. I just really like that piece of theme a lot and I love the sound effect and the smoke.

sorry but Hulk is no tunnel it's a frickin' covered lift hill.

When did anyone else say anything about Hulk's "tunnel" not being a "tunnel" for you to agree with. I think CoasterGlxy was just saying that it was not as great a tunnel as some other coaster, i.e. Hades, Voyage, etc. That's my interpretation at any rate.

I didn't read all of them, but it looks like everyone forgot the second tunnel on SROS. The best head chopper I have ever been on, and my hands always try to pull down. And even better when the mist is on which if you waited for 2.5 hours for the front seat, that will cool you right off. Which I did the first time I rode.

My favorite rides with tunnels are The Voyage, Hades, The Beast, Millenium Force, and Anaconda. I love coasters with tunnels it adds to the excitement and makes them different. Most of my favorite coasters have tunnels.

I've been on plenty of coasters with tunnels, so this is stuff. I know that the tunnel on Lightning Racer didn't do anything for me at all, nor did the ones on Millenium Force. I really love the tunnel on Sooperdooperlooper, and the ones on Magnum are cool as well. The best I've been on, however, are probably Loch Ness Monster and Grizzly at PKD. Loch Ness Monster has the huge helix going through it, and Grizzly's contains some of the best airtime I've experienced.
