I woulden't mind seeing more side friction coasters. The only thing i dont want to see the parks do is compete for record holders other than that more side friction and b&m sitdowns will do it for me.

More side friction. You mean one isn't enough. Why would anyone build that? I am sorry I wish I had something positive to say, but you just make no sense. Have you even been on a side friction coaster?

agreed - there is no reason to build more side friction coasters.

I'd like to see the wooden wild mouse make a comeback. John Fetterman, please convince Dick Knoebels that buying the Southport mouse is a great idea.

I heard about how the wooden wild mouse at Blackpool Pleasure Beach's more extreme in the thrill factor than any steel standard wild mouse coaster in the US. That'd be amazing if a park like Knoebels or Holiday World built a wooden wild mouse since it'd be unique & a lot of fun for most riders here who've never been on a wooden wild mouse before.

I have been on that Blackpool wooden mouse, and it is nuts. It makes our steel, even spinning, wild mice here look like they've been neutered. No comparison at all.

The mouse Larry is talking about was also crazy. not like the one at Blackpool, but still quite good. As previously stated they destroy the steel mice in the US.

It is a low capacity ride but could work in a place like Knoebels. It is hard to describe the uniqueness. You are sort of reclining versus sitting upright. As Animan and coaster05 can attest, when the car goes through the hairpins you can feel one side of the car elevate and it feels like you will be dumped out the side of the car.

Very true. The turns on that mouse are absolutely vicious, and it really does feel as though the car is about to snap off the track. As you said, you can actually feel it tilting. The drops are also very steep, as I was nearly flung from the car at one point.

I don't think a wooden wild mouse would do well in America. They sound like a lot of fun, but they also sound dangerous. I could forsee "instant lawsuit" if something were to happen on the ride, in this country, anyway.

^Pansy.

^^ You are probably right, except if no one has died on one in England why would they get injured here. They would probably have twice the restraints here.

About 1/4 of America's population are dumbasses. Think of how many more ride related deaths there are in this country, compared to Europe.

I agree. I herd this story about how 2 people died on shockwave and kings dominon because they got out of there restrints. Who would have the dumbness or the nerve to do that?

Yeah, or the guy that climbed out of his log, right befroe the drop, at the Camp Snoopy Log Flume at M.O.A.

I rode King Kobra at King's Island. The restraints didn't lock. I would take some serious effort to pull the "butterfly" harness open durring the ride, though.

Or the girl who did the same thing on the Flume at Liseberg. the reason there are more injuries here is because we have more parks. You two need some common sense. I am sure percentage wise they are all about the same.

To me some restraint systems dont seem safe. The t bars on ttd or the seatbelt on the spiral coaster at great america.

Now what about the lack of gaurdrails on rides at European fairs? You can stand like 3 feet away from a whirling Breakdance platform if you wanted to over there yet I've never heard of anyone being dumb enough to step aboard a moving platform. Over here, you just know it would happen.

Coaster 05 How are you going to tell the guy whose favorite coaster is the "Riverside" Cyclone that he is a pansey.

--------------------
Wild Cat(LC)2006 Ride Count= 151

B&M is so over rated all they did was steal the suspended coaster idea from Arrow and put a few loops in it.

Prefabricated Track is for people who can't handle a real wooden coaster.

5+ Years still missing the "Riverside" Cyclone

^Because you are saying a coaster you have never rode would "it would all bummy and break your neck." That is my basis.

You guys are probably right and people would do dumb stuff here, but that should not be the reason why we don't get certain rides. It is however the reason I will continue to travel overseas for park enjoyment since this country is slowing taking a lot of the fun out of going.

B&M the restraints are as safe as you make them. The only way the Whizzer at SFGAM would be unsafe is if you were an idiot. So I guess that ride would not be safe for you.

No I didn't mean it was bummy now, I am saying with the way wood coasters are taken care of here and plus the layout it would become very rough I would guess.

I am not that dumb. Iknow not to get out of the restraints. My point there was if the seatbelt tore and you came acrost an air time hill (not likely to be found on a spiral coaster) there is a chance of flying out depending on the airtime. And if the seatbelt tore and you were on a bankted turn small but possable chance of falling out.

No there would not be. You are a complete dumba#$ and you should not speak. That is one of the dumbest things I have heard.

Why couldn't a park take care of their wood. Knoebels does fine so does HW so Got it your argument is crap.

Shut up! I will say what i want to say. Coaster05 just has to pick on me becasue he fells bad about himself. Dont worry coaster in some parts of society gayness is accepted. The fact that he has to pick on a 13 year old is just sad.
