This is the exact opposite of the quiet & smooth coaster thread? What coaster do ya'll think's the one that makes the most noise? It doesn't matter about whether it's a smooth or rough coaster. For me, it'd have to be neither the Great Bear at Hersheypark or Incredible Hulk at Islands of Adventure. That B&M roar can be heard throughout the whole park & that sets the bar for how both rides have that appealing sound which makes it seem like it has a lot of vigor & power in them.

Isn't Superman The Escape earsplitting? Doesn't it sound like a military base full of F-16's? Most B&M's I've seen are pretty noisy, like the Batmans, but the Chiller is also pretty earsplitting.

Medusa at SFGAdv is one of the loudest coasters I have been on but the Howl seems to work in it's favor some how.

Kumba has to be the loudest I think that Ive ever heard, and I liked it, the B&M "raor" fit "Roar" perfectly haha.

I grew up around an airfield, and though I wouldn't say it was that loud, it does get my vote.

How is this even a question... The High Speed Thrill Coaster, of course. Each lap into that station and onto the chain lift is borderline ear-splitting... and I would have it no other way.

That lift on High Speed Thrill Coaster is very loud. Many launched coasters are loud and you can hear their launches all around the park.
If it was more than just coasters, I would have to say Dragon's Descent at Funtown/Splashtown U.S.A. because the air can be heard from all around the park and I could hear it even across the park a huge banging noise it made.

Batman & Robin: The Chiller by a landslide for me. The sound adds to it though; it actually gets my adreniline pumping a bit to hear/see the train roar out of the building into the first inversion.

The Chiller and SooperDooperLooper is pretty loud, so is great bear...and Lighting Racers Lift...and The Wild Cat... Hershey Park in general is loud lol.

Wildcat, Lightning Racer, and Sooperdooperlooper weren't that loud. Great Bear has the distinct B&M roar found on many of their coasters. Storm Runner's launch is pretty loud when right next to it because of the launch itself and screaming riders.
Superman; the Escape has often been regarded as the loudest coaster and can be heard anywhere around the park. How loud is it compared to other rides?

Lighting Racers lift was loud when I went. I couldn't even talk to the person next to me. SooperDooperLooper has that Schwarzkopf roar. And great bear is really loud, because I don't think the tracks are filled with sand like most other B&Ms are. I don't know why everyone knocks Trail Blazer. It's not Arrows fault Hershey had a small amount of land and probably wanted something small for families. I really liked it and thought it was cute.

Lightning Racer's lift wasn't too loud, except for one ride when both trains were yelling insults at each other. Sooperdooperlooper is louder than most steel coasters, but not nearly as bad as the Great Bear. I don't mind the Trailblazer, it's a great family coaster, but just not as good as many other coasters out there.

Oh God! This is tough!
Superman: The Escape is by far the loudest, but Invertigo @ Great America scares the crap uot of you whe the train passes through the station. The gates around the track go all the way up to the ceiling, so their's no way of seeing the train when/befor it goes by! Flashback at MM was pretty loud too, back whet it operated. Now it's REALLY quiet!

i havent been on many coasters but id have to say either the boss or wild fire or powder keg. the boss at the bottom of the drop yelled as loud as possable i thought. wildfire going down its first drop had that amazingly loud roar(which i love)! and powder keg when it launches it roars at an increadbly loud level. but the way you guys make the others sound makes theses seem quiet

Ok so I noticed this is an older one, but one coaster that I found loud that most people didn't mention is Sidewinder at HP, it sounds like a torpedo/missle is being shot off when it drops from the second lift. It's also very noisy to work, although I will say it's my favorite to work. Great Bear is loud, but it's really not loud in the station like Sidewinder is.

^ All boomerangs make that noise. Personally I think that boomerangs are much louder in the station than they are when they are released on the second lift.

I'm going to go with Superman: The Escape. I think it's because of metal wheels on a metal track. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here. I believe that Hypersonic XLC has the same problem. Those are two very crummy coasters, BTW.
Son of Beast deserves an honorable mention for being annoyingly loud on the lift hill.
