Can they have the parks organize their websites.

Cedar Point has the most info and says if you buy the 2007 Maxx Pass now it can used used at other Cedar Fair parks for the remainder of 2006 at any CF park.

Dorney Park says you can buy it now but makes no reference to using it in 2006.

Knotts doesn't even mention the 2007 Maxx Pass yet on their site.

Kings Dominion says if you buy the 2007 Pass now it is good at Kings Dominion only for 2006 and all CF parks in 2007.

I guess I can understand why the Cedar Point Maxx Pass would have extra benefits since it costs more, but the lack of info on DP's site and KBF's site makes it confusing.

It's probably because they haven't mentioned their admission prices yet for next year. I can understand Cedar Point's Maxx Pass thing to work for the rest of this year since they've also dropped their general admission price. They're trying to increase their attendance record at a reasonable price I might add.

I'm very confused by this also. I would really like to know because I am going to be going to Dorney the day after PPP and then I am planning on hitting PKD a couple weeks after. If it won't be good for the rest of the year at the Paramount parks, I just won't bother buying the pass as I don't think I will frequent Dorney that much next year again. I figured I would get the pass at Dorney, rack up the 50-60 dollars in admission costs this year and then hit up Dorney a couple times next year to round out the cost of the pass. If it isn't good this year for all of that, I just won't bother.

it gets worse, I called Knotts today and they didn't even know what the Maxx Pass was.

Cedar Fair corporate is determining the procing on a park-by-park basis, and is literally going park-by-park -- determining and announcing the prices -- at this time. That is the cause of confusion.

As for Knott's, you may have to "play it by ear"

All the CF parks have announced pricing for season passes for 2007 except Knott's. Knottt's is open all year except for Christmas and their passes are annual passes so maybe they will add the Maxx/Maxx Plus later for an additional cost.

When I bought mine at Kings Dominion, the lady that I bought it from knew absolutely nothing about it. (way less than me) The folks who took my pictures had the most unorganized way of opperating I have ever seen. Two people "leaked" info to another family out that they could use the pass for Carowinds this year. I asked if I could, and they told me "are you with them?"

Idiots.
