This is an interesting video about how Test Track was suppose to be faster and steeper. It's about 20 min. long. Did you know it was suppose to be 95 instead of 65 mph. This also includes a on ride video. The ride has changed since it
first opened. They don't have as many sounds on the ride as they use to.

Cool video I never knew the ride was supposed to be faster - too bad, it would've been better.

They were running so far behind they had to make it slower. It would have been great to have it at 95 instead of a speed that most people drive faster than.

A lot of people like it just fine at 65 mph though - it's more of a family ride that way.

I would like it if Disney would start to make faster rides. I wish they would make more coaster rides, Rock n' Roller Coaster is agreat start. Disney has the money to build the biggest and best coasters possible. They are just sticking to family type rides more.

Disney doesn't want to be a cedar point. Disney is a family company, with a few thrill rides at the parks.

I would too, but they never really will make overly intense rides. Just look at Mission: Space - it was their most intense ride ever and people are afraid of it (for no reason I might add). Most people who go to WDW aren't coaster enthusiasts, and for them the 60 mph launch on RRC is an unbelievable rush. Disney has a reputation for being a great "family" park, and it was Walt's dream to build a place where families could spend time together. There would be no reason for them to make faster rides, as much as you and I might like them to.

I'm sure that over time that you will find Disney Buildign more thrill rides. I remember a remer a few Years back that disney was going to build a IOA style park which would be a thrill park.

But Disney will stick to Family attractions in MK, family witha few thrill rides in EPCOT and AK, and MGM sounds like the park which will be the Praposed Thrill park.

That would be great if Disney would make an IOA style park. They have the property to build another park or they could use MGM.

Thing is Disney has been spendign too much money on partially owned propertys acrosss seas. The more they build In oter Countrys the more likelyhood that attendance may slow down at the US disney parks.

They need to build one in Canada. There were many people at WDW from Canada last time I went.

Why build one is canada. Disney is rumered to have bought land in MA,OH, TX, and one other state in prep for anotehr US park. Why build in canada. Population is down unless your on a city there is no major air port and You'ld have to put up with all the ride ups telling you " have a great day at Disney's Canada A"
