After hearing many people debate which type of frisbee type ride is best, I thought this would be a good topic. In your opinion, which manufacturer makes your favorite frisbee type ride?

Since I hate the sea-sickness motion from pendulum rides, I usually avoid them. I took my sister on a small spinning pendulum (only 15ft high, but spins more than bigger ones), called the Aztec at a small, Braintree 4th of July Carnival. It was a decent ride.

the Giant Frisbee at SFFT (Huss) is a spin and puke monster! Yes, that means I like it, unless a person near me is a victim.

However, I do like the ones that face outward better.

Seen it, and ridden it. I rate it at my number three. Here is the rundown for me:

1. A Driven KMG Fireball/Afterburner (Reithoffer's machine)
2. Moser Sidewinder (Fandango at Knoebels)
3. Mondial Revolution (Psyclone at PCWon)
4. Huss Giant Frisbee (Delerium at PKI)
5. Huss Frisbee (former Gauntlet at SFGAdv)
6. Zamperla Nitro (Nitro at Martin's, which, BTW, is up a little scary too)
7. Chance Revolution 32 (Claw at Hersheypark)

Yea I knew you rode it but other than that pretty much everyone else who has reviewed it are Toronto locals who don't post

I think the other models I have been on are all very close. Fandango gets a slight nod for #2 because it seemed to have better floating than the others. I'd probably put Nitro at #3 just because of the ultra-long ride cycle and the Chance rides at #4.

What do you mean by little scary? Are you talking about the "support"s?

Yeah. The fact that it is set up on wooden blocks and not really anchored makes it a little freaky. I did not see it, but Larry claims that when he visited one of the legs was actually lifting up on the swings.

it's no lie, I saw it with my own eyes. And then I still rode it, but only once.

The legs were anchored in concrete blocks as shown in the photos when I was there. However, one of these concrete blocks was lifted out of the ground (not completely out of the ground) by about 3-4 inches with each swing of the arm.

Bottom Line for me these rides almost any version, other then the one a SFGAM(used to be at GADV I believe) just flat out rule. Inever thought there would be a flat that could break into my coaster list but these do it. At most parks they rate in my top five rides at that park, even the weaker one a hershey makes my top 7 at that park. Every park could put one in and I would be happy. Well except for VF because they would probably ruin it like they ruined their falling star.

So what's wrong with the one at SFGAm? Just wondering.

The one at SFGAM is different. I don't really learn ride names so excuse my ignorance on that. You face inward, you don't swing nearly as high and you spin way too fast. Otheres may really like it, but not me.

Is it a chance revolution like dorney/ hershey? Are those even considered frisbee rides?

Are they the ones that got the Frisbe style ride that the cars swing out as it swings back and forth. they renamed in Xcalibure?

The ride at SFGAm is a Huss Frisbee. It looks much like the one here:

The Evolution is a totally different ride and is at SFSL.

Thanks Cyclonic I knew someone would know. That version I just don't like that well now that I have done the others like Maxair and Fandango.

Ok your talkign aobut Gontlet removed form SFGAdv. I road that when it was at the park. It was prity much the same as the one at SFNE. I didn't find it that bad. I'm Assuming that you think the Inverted ones are beter then the normal seated ones.
