What was your favorite non-coaster ride of 2005 that you have ridden?

My favorite ride is the one that Yoshi is taking us on when he could have just asked two questions in one thread.
Fandango, I think it was the only new non-coaster I rode this year..

That is awesome bob.
Maxair. The rattling sign on Fandango keeps it second.

Does Fandango's sign rattle because the ride was originally going to be called Sidewinder?

I don't know? It probably rattles because the screws are loose. You know about loose screws don't you?

Fandango, for sure. Haven't had a chance to get to Cedar Point lately.

Wow. I really hope that was a joke
I didn't notice a rattling sign, but I'm sure it has something to do with the ride itself making the sign rattle.

I dont think any screws are loose, just the sigh is loosely attached and rattles with the motion, so I doubt its anything that is cause for concern.

I'm not concerned. I just figure that it is attatched in some way that when the ride is in motion, the sign shakes a bit. Nothing big.

I think over what I heard off Darkcastle would be the best as far as what I had a chance to ride. Whipout at Canobie.

DarKastle has so many mixed reviews though. I wish I could have ridden it this year, but it's all about next year This kind of thing is so hard, especially when there are some good rides out there that have not been ridden by others.

Wipeout at Canobie Lake Park was by far my favorite new flat ride out of all the ones I rode. The only other new flat I rode this year was the Flying Tigers whip. Wipeout was by far better.

I'm going to have to say Cedar Point's MaxAir, even though I didn't get on it b/c I hate spinning rides. They make me too dizzy after the ride's over. My two older cousins went on it & they said that it was a lot of fun. MaxAir did look exciting to watch.

I am not worried about the sign, but IMO it was enough for me to like Maxair better. I also didn't think fandango came close to sidewinder at Adventureland.

Fandango was a blast - just a really cool sensation.

Wow, there is a ride that tops Fandango? I'm up for that anyday. But, I do have to say that it kills a Chance Revolution.

I think it may be the same as the Knoebels one:
But yea, I actually like the Zamperla Nitro @ Martin's more than Fandango

Yea it is totally the same, but it loads better, the staff was really funny and the area around it is so much nicer. Because it seems less "fairy" it seems like the better ride though it is probably the same. I also never waited in a line like that picture.
