Hey, Mark - just a thought, based on a recent board conversation. In the middle of an "Astroland" thread, I got into a seperate conversation with another member, about band organs. It was going somewhere, but I didn't want to hijack the thread altogether. Also, if members are thinking of meeting at a park, and one has to provide email addresses - but they aren't too keen about doing so in the threads...
Is it possible to offer a feature on the site for Personal Messaging? Many boards offer this - a member can send a private message that can go into the recipient's account - with an option to be forwarded to an email addy, as well. I figure this way, the conversations that tend to get more involved and/or specialized can go into PM, so they won't be boring the heck out of other members, or hijacking previous threads. As well, those who wish to post their contact info privately can do so.

Just so you know, it is/was supposed to be a new feature in TPC 2. I would second the request, but I think it's already on its way

Last I read from Mark he said it was still coming, but that was back in the thread that announced adriahna and I as moderators.
