I've been to about 16 parks. Here's my list:

1. - Busch Gardens Williamsburg (Best looking park around, great theming)
2. - Island of Adventure (Best theming anywhere hands down)
3. - Busch Gardens Tampa (Great open animal park [I can't call it a zoo] mixed w/ great theming)
4. - Kennywood (Favorite smaller traditional park feel)
5. - Hershey
6. - Morey's Piers (Favorite beach amusement park, a lot to offer + the ocean)
7. - SFGADV (Mega thrills in a decent looking park)
8. - Knoebels (Cool mountainous backdrop and old school amusement feel)
9. - SFoGA (Nice atmosphere for a chain park)
10.- PKD (Pretty clean, okay themed park. I've just been too many times)

Top 10 Parks:
1. Universal Orlando
2. Dollywood

I've never beeen and I'm curious about Dollywood. I feel like the tickets are kind of expensive ($43.50) for a park w/ only 3 coasters (not including the kiddie one). Other than Thunderhead and the arrow looper there what impresses you about the park?

I haven't been to DollyWood, but along with Thunderhead, it's the setting of the park that makes me want to go there.

That's the key, if you go, don't think that you are getting ripped off with just two big coasters, go and experience the live entertainment, the beautiful area, the great people, the fabulous food, the awesome crafts, the preservation efforts, the good festivals, the wet water rides etc. Savor what is the Smokie Mountains and what is Dollywood. That park just offers so much that I think many visitors are amazed at how good it really is.

We'll do Bob. Maybe I'll have to drag my wife on that trip and take in the whole experience.

Usually I'm in a mad dash to ride what I can (coasters only) and get through the park and head back home. Like Amazing Race or something. Especially when I do two parks in one day like I'm doing in a few weeks. Thanks for the advice.

A local in the line in front of me gave gave discount coupons to save about $10 per admission. It seemed like everyone on line had these coupons when I went.
