I was watching some tv show on the Discovery Channel, and featured, was a POV on Alpengeist. Well, kinda. It was on a woman on Alpengeist. It looked like, when she went through the first inversion, that it was an Immleman. Normally, on Inverts, or any ride with inversions for that matter, the loop is first. Can anyone clear this up for me? Is the first inversion an Immleman or a loop?

Well, Alpengeists first inversion is a vertical loop, so on that coaster special they must have just edited the POV. It happens alot.

On one of their shows when they show X, they show the same video of the fat Paul Rubem going down the first drop like 8 times when they are supposed to be showing you the whole ride....

Alpy's first inversion is an Immelman, followed by a loop, cobra roll, zero-g roll, and a corkscrew.

A vertical loop would probably kill you with the speed off that hill.

So it is an Immleman first?! Wow. That's a first.
Does anyone know where I can get a picture of that?

Here you go Immelman You would think that would be a loop from what you have learned about B&M I'm sure.

I was definately not disapointed in the drop. I thought the whole ride was fantastic with crazy speeds and elements.

But the funny thing is that I honestly got on Alpengeist expecting it to blow Montu out of the water, so I'm not bias over Montu. I'll be adding another invert to my collection soon, so we'll see how Montu and the Dragons hold up.

DD is awesome because of the dueling aspect, the theming, and well, because Universal can do no wrong, but as a coaster I prefer Alpengeist.

Universal expansion may be something they will do wrong. Just my two cents.

Yes, land will someday be a problem for Universal. There however is enough room to continue adding rides to both parks, which is fine with me.

IOA is pretty much full, but Universal has room for a couple of large projects behind MIB. I remember seeing a lot of empty land behind MIB from my hotel the Hard Rock

There's a decent amount of room in Seuss Landing, Toon Lagoon, and Jurassic Park. Also, if they someday remove the Pandemonium Cartoon Circus, they'll have room for another Marvel attraction.
