I don't say I like Islands of Adventure because I'll be associated with the people on the internet like you, who just bash Disney to be bashing Disney.

I dont bash disney I just think IOA is better, and I just dont think alot of there rides that people rate 10 and 9 dont desrves the rateings they get.

Actually on our site MK has no ride with above an 8.8 avg and only 5 rides total with an average rating higher then 8.

Ride versus ride MK is nowhere close to IOA but for me full park experience is what keeps MK above IOA for me.

I do the same thing that Duke does. When I go to Orlando, I usually hit 1 or more of each of the parks. They each have their own pros and cons.

Were getign back in when it was mentioned you can't compair them. Look at rides at Disney like Dinosour, The new Everist, Souring, Test track, Space, etc. then look at IOA.

All these rides were build in the same aira of technoligy and are better compared.

Thats true. Also the Epcot rides are supposed to make you think and learn as well as entertain.

Actualy The land ride at EPCOT most people hate I personaly like it. it's relaxing and the detail is more then you find in most parks.

I feel that Disney does a much better job when it comes to themeing and storytelling. Disney gives a reason for what is going on around you. When IoA tries, it usually fails. Like Spiderman, sure all the special effects are pretty and amazing, but I had no clue what was going on. Rock 'N Roller Coaster on the other hand, has a very clear story. I'm going to see Aerosmith at a studio, but they have to leave to get to a concert. They're not going to leave all of their fans behind, so they get us a limo to take us to the concert. We are then sent on a crazy trip through LA to the concert.

I have heard things verry similare to this from many people. basicly that IOA is an amusment park posing as a theme park jsut s few steps above SF parks.

FTPC I agree the only reason these two parks get compared is geography.

Also IOA fan boys just love to act like this park is so superior to MK.

As far as the other guy who couldn't understand Spidey but totally accepts the Aerosmith premise. HUH?

IOA is fantastic and it is way above SF as far as overall quality. I just think comparing the 2 is like apples to steak its just nowwhere close.

I am an IoA fanboy, yet I still think MK is an amazing park.

You are right Taco. A true amusemnt park fan would realize that both of these parks are excellent in their own way. I love Disney, but in no way does that mean I have any problem or nothing but a sense of awe for IOA. My only concern for IOA is lack of land.

I would never say any park stinks, well maybe a few SFI parks but other then that. IOA looks good. I'm still trying to get back down to Orlando and chack out this park. in time!

Both of these parks are fantastic and all other parks can learn from them. I like Magic Kingdom when I want to be a child and I like IOA when I want an adrenaline rush and coasters.
