What's your favorite GCI woody that you've been on? I've only ridden 2 of them, but out of the 2, my favorite's Lightning Racer. It's smooth, fast, fun, long, & has a great dueling/racing aspect to it too. The ride has some airtime, but I wish that it had a lil bit more & also within a few years that LR would be more intense.

Thunderhead, and it probably will be until they recreate the Crystal Beach Cyclone.

(a guy can hope, right?)

My Coaster Record thanks to coastercounter.com, which is a great site. Currently, I am re-doing my site a bit, making it look nice, but it will be back soon enough.

Don't worry, we are planning to recreate the Crystal Beach Cyclone at Dorney when I own the place
(a guy can dream, right?)

Lightning Racer is pretty nice. Like I have said before, I don't really know what all of the fuss is about with Thunderhead. I have not been on it, but I saw a few videos and it didn't really look all that great. I guess it is just something that I have to experience though.

Herc - yes, you must experience Thunderhead. I couldn't imagine it being so good until I rode it.

Wildcat's also a nice woody too at HP. It maintains speed, has some airtime, & has a good medium-sized layout to it. Wildcat definitely has a lot of intensity. Hopefully, I'll be able to experience GCI's like Gwazi at BGT & Roar at SFA.

I will experience this during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend this year. Looking forward to every minute of it, as well.

Coasters are the highlights of theme parks. Flat rides are the supporting cast.

Hopefully, I'll be able to add another GCI coaster to my list which will be Gwazi at BGT this summer. I already know that it won't be better than Lightning Racer. Maybe better than the Wildcat.

1) Lightning Racer
2)Wildcat
3)Roar! (sfa)
4)Gwazi

Wildcat would probably be #1 if it had millenium flyer trains, but lightning racer is so much fun. It's very re-ride able because of the racing aspect

I'm sure that some of ya'll have a favorite GCI at heart. C'mon. There's plenty to choose from.

Lightning Racer (HP)
Wildcat (HP)
Thunderhead (Dollywood)
Gwazi (BGT)
Roar (SFA)
Roar (SFMW)
Ozark Wildcat (Celebration City)

New 2006 ones in Beech Bend Park & Power Park. Those are the only ones that I can remember right now.
