Do you remember your 1st B&M experience? Doesn't matter what type of B&M coaster it was. Mine was the Great Bear at Hersheypark. I was 11 years old & very frighteneed of roller coasters. I've ridden it a lot ever since then. It's still a good ride. The only other B&M coaster I've ridden was Talon & I love it a lot more than Great Bear.

Gosh, I can't even remember. It was either Hulk, Montu, or Kumba, but I really have no idea which. Might have been Hulk though...

I'm pretty sure mine was Batman the Ride at SFGAm, since neither of my local parks have ever had a B & M. This was about 9 years ago, and I could not have cared less about designs back then. But my totals: '96- BTR '99- Apollo's chariot and Alpengeist '99- Iron Wolf (got the courage), Raging Bull '00- Mantis and Raptor '02- Great Bear
Not bad since I've never really done a coaster road trip.

I'm only asking this question because a lot of people say that B&M are the coaster geniuses in the amusement industry. I just wandered about your 1st experience & how that made you become a B&M fan.

Wow, I have been on 17, which is a few more than I thought I had been on. Anyways, how did a what was your first B&M" thread turn into a "post all of the B&Ms youve been on" thread?
My list, in order: Georgia Scorcher Batman The Ride (SFOG) Superman: Ultimate Flight Hulk DD Fire DD Ice Montu Kumba Riddler's Revenge Batman The Ride (Magic Mt.) Scream! Raptor Mantis Vortex Top Gun: The Jet Coaster Apollo's Chariot Alpengeist
... and all but one of them has gotten a 7 or above, they are pretty much always good

First B&M was Montu and even after going on rides like Dragster and Millenium Force in Cedar Point, which are amazing rides! I still consider Montu my favorite coaster, I just think It's a perfect ride the whole way through! Some of my other B&M favorites are Kraken, Hulk, Dueling Dragons and Apollo's Chariot.Hopefully Sheikra will be another favorite when I ride it in about two months.

The first ever B & M for me was Batman the Ride at Six Flags Over Georgia. It was in 1998, which was my first trip back to the park since the early 90's. I had heard alot about the ride through websites like this one before riding it, so I was well-prepared for the ride experience, which, in my opinion, is one of the best inverted coasters I have ever ridden to this point behind, Volcano:TBC, Raptor, and Deja Vu. It is #2 on the B & M Inverted list currently behind Raptor only, but I know that will change after my many first-time park trips this and next year.

Hopefully, I'll be able to ride the following B&M's this summer so that I've experienced more than just Talon & Great Bear:
1. Raptor 2. Mantis 3. Dueling Dragons 4. Incredible Hulk 5. Kraken 6. SheiKra 7. Montu 8. Kumba
These are the ones that I might be riding this year: 1. Alpengeist 2. Apollo's Chariot 3. Batman: the Ride (SFGAD) 4. Medusa (SFGAD) 5. Nitro 6. Superman: Ultimate Flight (SFGAD)
