Im going with Hershey easily here. As for those saying Hershey is lacking in atmosphere Dorney Park is bland and boring. Terrible theming and atmosphere!! Great rides at both but Hershey's are better. Crammed shammed, who cares how close the rides are. The one kind of cramming that sucks is that of congested crouds which Hershey rarely suffers from.

Hershey doesn't suffer from crowds? You must really go on the right days because I've been to the park on busy days and the midways are packed. Dorney rarely has packed walkways like Hershey does, if you were implying that Dorney does.

I wasn't implying Dorney does. In fact Dorney is great for being uncongested. I'll admit all the times I've been to Hershey was a weekday. Perhaps that has something to do with it because I have never encountered congestion problems at Hershey.

That definately has something to do with it. Hershey can get really bad. I'm glad to see that you have hit up the park when it is not that full Hershey is truly a great place when you can enjoy it to the fullest.

Well since Hershey is about to become my home park I'm sure I'll find out how bad it can get I never went near Busch on weekends because of the crowds so I'll probably practice the same there. You get spoiled going to a park and not waiting in line. It makes it really hard to EVER go on weekends when you know you can come back in a couple days and avoid all the stress.

I like both, but I guess Im the only one that likes the "new" Dorney Park. I don't like the older rides leaving. Ive never been there before most of the older ones left, only like, once before cedar fair and a bunch of times after (which is maybe why I like it alot now) But it feels very clean/modern and I dont mind it resembling Cedar Point. I like how it is and theres still some good atmosphere there (like the midway going through the Thunderhawk) Maybe had I been there before I would change my opinion, but as of now I personally like it. I havent been to HP in years, and was only there once but I remember I really liked it. Both have a good selection of coasters, but Id have to go with Dorney for now. Wildwater Kingdom is also a plus.

Just to let ya'll know, I'll be working back at Hersheypark again for the summer. I'll still be residing at Trailblazer Catering which's across the creek from the Trailblazer coaster itself. I'll be the only black man working there, so if you want to find out the mysterious RCGenius, I'll easily be found.

Yeah Scott. You know what I'm saying? The ladies working at Hersheypark are fine & I try to holla at a lot of them. Some women working there though should be easily avoided by all costs b/c they can be weird.

You can't really compare these 2 parks. They both are great parks. Hershey Park has expanded alot over the years and has added shows, Hershey Gardens, Zoo, Shopping Mall, and other things besides amusement rides. You can spend a whole week in the area now and have a great time. In my opinion ride wise Hershey Park is better then Dorney Park but I haven't been to either park since 2003.
