Its great if you are a kid, I guess. Though I loved how the waiting line weaved through an indoor night forest, and I thought the alien talking to us was a nice touch. During the flight over the city, however, I had the feeling I was flying over a floor covered in store-bought models and Hot Wheels cars.
Still good for being an older ride. the room that looks like the forest that you wait in is very cool. Could use some updating on the effects not the story. I also dont like the video that acts like the changes made to the movie on the 20th anniversary actually helped the movie.
I really like this ride. Yeah, its a little basic, but the theming is wonderful, the chilled room with the sound effects and the fog machines really take you back to scenes from the movie. The robotic figures could have been better, but the lighting was nice. I especially liked the fact that you got to sit on the bike with ET being in the basket. Something to ride with your kids or wimpy mother.
I Love the theming when you actually have to wait in line. The ride itself could use some updated animatronics and the announced names could be louder, but the overall experience is definitely there for such an old ride. Kids will dig it, especilly if they have seen the movie.
It was a cute ride, It could have been a bit better with some of the animatronics, but it was still a neat plot.
Very nice ride. The queue is very well designed and themed and the ride is very nice. I really thought the names thing in the ride was cool. This is a classic and just needs an update. Make sure you give this ride a try.
Although its getting old, this ride is still great. The queue line winds through the pine forest where some of the movie takes place. The ride itself has some nice dips and turns, with very nice theming. Kids, especially those that have seen the movie, should like this ride, though everyone can enjoy it. Great ride that should be ridden at least once.
A sort of wilder version of Peter Pans Flight. The bicycle vehicles are nice, and the scenery is pleasent enough. E.Ts planet is pretty detailed and colourful. The human animatronics are awful though, and the flight over the city is much nicer on Peter Pan. Well worth a ride though and the queue line, once youre inside, is very atmospheric.
I was actually surprised by this ride. Im not a big fan of dark rides, and since this one is pretty old I didnt expect much. However, it has been worked on recently and is very good. The cars are very unique, and the scenes are well done. Fun for everyone and good theme. The end is cool too.
A very atmospheric ride with plenty of lush scenery both on ride and que. Very personal and closely linked to the movie, it will make you feel the magic of ET just like you did when you saw it the first time.
