Appearence-Well maintained. Fun. Rerideable. Duration short. Capacity small.
I asked around quite a bit in Myrtle Beach as to where you could find this attraction. Nobody knew. Imagine my surprise when it turned up in the Myrtle Beach Pavilion itself. Im not sure why its included in this separate list of attractions. Anyway, Treasure Hunt was one of the shoot-em-up dark rides that are becoming so popular these days. This one was unfortunately not the best example. The ride was pretty short, the pirate theming wasnt great, and I didnt feel that maniacal obsession to blast every target in sight to beat my partner. It was fun enough, but Im glad it was in the Pavilion and not an individual attracton, so that I didnt have to pay extra for it. It would not have been worth that.
his is the exact same ride as the den of lost theives at Indiana Beach, except for not being as cool i mean everything inside is the same! But some of ibs better scenes and building structure are not there such as an amazing revolving barrel and an upstairs and of course the fact that it is still Mystery Mansions Building! Its not set up as cool either. its much darker at ib. So my point is go to Ib for a better version, much better!!!!
Similar to the Great Pistolero Round-Up, but kept in better condition, this is a good ride. In exchange for a high score, you get small prizes such as a pirate flag which is a neat little perk. I suggest you try it if youre a dark ride fan such as myself.
