I really love The Jaws Ride. We have been on it several times and have always had excellent guides. Do not miss this ride if you are at Universal and I personally think the ride is even better if you do it at night. Also, if possible, sit on the left-hand side of the boat about mid-way back.
For having a pretty good idea what was going to happen on this ride, Universal did a pretty good job at surprising me. The fire effects across the water are cool and the multiple shark attacks add to the fun. I really enjoy sitting on the left side of the boat half way back for the best shark adventure. Watch the TVs in line for some goofy jokes. It will make the time go fast.
Typical, typical. Ride a boat and get away from Jaws. Exactly what youd expect. Sorry, but I love surprises and this just didnt have any. Your boat moved a little to the side when it bit at the end but that was it for this short, mediocre ride.
Jaws is know for its classic duh-da duh-da theme song and famous attack scenes. Here you are in the middle of the fear. Steven Speilburg brings the scarce to the park in a face-to-face thrilling where you take a boat ride where he might be lurking. You might even like it better than the movie. I do.
Jaws was interesting. The boat ride was nice, the ride op we had seemed to be really enthusiastic & very dramatic at his job, & the impact of Jaws coming right towards us was kinda freaky too. The fire that broke out was very hot too. Definitely ride Jaws if you really want to experience the true terror of sharks the same way as how Jaws the movie has already shown us.
I love Jaws. I still get scared with some of the effects. Its very well themed and I wasnt expecting the fire effect. Its getting slightly old, but thats what makes it great. Definately ride this at least once.
Duh Duh. Duh Duh. Duh Duh. Ahhhhhhhh! Gurgle, crunch, snap(blood comes to the surface). Boy, Jaws was a scary movie when I was a kid. Nothing is scarier than having something eat you. Jaws played to that fear. Jaws The Ride...on the first ride... is pretty scary. The next rides, of course, isnt scary at all. Jaws looks pretty fake, but the boat you are on shakes around and the fires are pretty hot adding to the experience. With some of the newer attractions Jaws is pretty old and worn out, but one should give it at least one ride.
A classic ride. Once you see this ride one time it losses whatever scare factor it had. Still this is a fun ride with decent fire effects. Fun for the whole family
Im not quite sure what to make of this ride. I can remember when we were younger, my friends would vividly describle their experience on the ride, making it out to be pretty suspenseful. That probably raised my expectations a bit, as the ride is a bit cheesy. The special effects are cool, and the dark shed was the best moment. All in all, it just dosent do much for me.
well.....it was a great ride, and the theming was great.
