I was kind of let down by the Psyclone. The ride looks physically imposing with its massive size and I was expecting a hearty dose of air-time on the upswings, but this would not be the case. While the downswings are very intense and really pack on the positive Gs, I most look forward to the air-time typically found on these frisbee-style flats. The upswings go very high and provide a great breeze, but my butt was parked in my seat for the duration of the ride. Based on these reviews, I am hoping I just got a bad ride but despite the lack of air, it is still a pretty enjoyable and forceful flat worth riding.

Psyclone is amazing!

I thought the swing felt quite powerful and fast and I loved freaking out almost upside-down at one edge of the arch motion, super high up in the air in absolute weightlessness (*cough unlike the drop tower having such single purpose *cough *cough).

Psyclone is a great flat ride, but it misses a real spinning motion. I also thought it was rather short. Being noticeably imperfect, I thus thought it didn't deserve a perfect 5. It's more like a 4.5 ( sharpen the rating system TPC! ).

But being banked at over 90 degrees so high sitting completely freely and feeling your body weightless in such a thrilling way is delightfully terrifying... and exhilirating.

ABSOLUTELY Worth it.

This was pretty good, but not as good as other models out there. Psyclone was rather weak on the spinning, but made up for it with the swinging because the ride was pretty big. The swings provided some very strong Gs at the bottom and there was some good air time on the max swings. The cycle was only average though.

I love all versions of these types of rides, however I feel that this type is the most average of the experiences. I dont believe it is the fault of CW, because the model I rode in Spain was just as average as this. The restraints feel a little more constricting and the ride just doesnt have as fun of a feel. All in all though if you are at the park that excels in being average this ride is a pretty good choice.

It goes very high in the air, but i found it very short a not much fun.

I found that this version is a little more compact than some of the versions at other parks and that this seems to add some intensity to this incarnation. It has a powerful swinging motion and gives a good ride.

This ride is awesome. Probably the best flat in the park besides shock wave. It has a very fast swing and the spinning is great too! This ride is so thrilling. Except when you get off all the blood rushes to your feet so make sure that you wear tight shoes on the ride and shake your feet off afterwards. Also on very hot days stand under the rdie for a nice breeze too.

Psyclone was a very good pendulum ride, as most of them are. The sheer size, though pale in comparison to its Giant Huss counterparts, is still impressive as it can be seen from the parking lot swinging above the treeline. The ride encompassed everything that makes these rides fun: rotations, swingind and a high maximum angle. The cycle was fair, though not great, and overall the ride was worth the long (at least for a flatride) wait.

The Mondial version at Wonderland is vastly inferior to Huss versions. The spinning is less intense, the swinging is also less intense, the ride capacity is smaller, and it just isnt as good of a ride. However, the ride itself is decent, if youre sitting in the right spot. Not blow-away good, but definately worth a ride if youre in the park.

This is a good flat ride that doesnt make you sick to your stomach or give you motion sickness. It gives a good view of the park and also gives you good airtime. It is fun, rerideable, average speed, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.
