This flume features a very long life hill with a fairly bid drop to a big splash at the end. The ride at the top through the woods is interesting as well.
I always get wet on this thing! Lake Compounce takes great advantage of their location....one that features a lake, as well as a steep cliff-faced mountain. Along with the Boulder Dash roller coaster, this flume makes use of the hillside to create an interesting and fun ride layout. The main drawback to the ride are the long lines which always seem to exist. But once aboard, you will be treated to a steep climb up the mountainside to a neat jaunt through a forest of trees, leading into a steep plunge and a wet finale! Fun ride at a nice park.
Not bad for a one drop flume. The run through the trees is fast and fun. The drop is steep and you do get wet (I swear, it felt like someone threw a bucket of water in my face at the bottom).
A very good flume, one of the better ones i have been on. Like Boulder Dash, this ride hugs its terrain through the woods and finishes with a nice splash
An average flume - perhaps unintentionally helped in its theming cause the "saw mill" ride is surrounded by lots of actual trees. Decent on the wetness factor.
An OK flume ride. Nothing to special about it, but still good for a ride or two.
Not a bad flume but I think the FAKE splash at the bottom of the drop actually takes away from the ride. (It has hoses squirting you instead of a natural splash.
Dude... its a flume. It does what its supposed to. It gets you wet and you move on to bigger and better things.
This flume is decent. No extra effort when it comes to scenery, but I like the surrounding nature myself. Also, I can never remember getting all that wet on this ride, so thats always a plus (or to me it is). Slightly above average, but probably not worth more than a twenty minute wait.
A nice log flume that takes you through the woods and its length is pretty decent. You dont get too wet, but then again its better than getting soaked. Nice ride.
