This ride is preety good, Its no Kraken or Medusa..but for its size it gives you a really intense ride. The Zero g Roll is the best part of the ride. Too bad the corkscrews are rough. I also noticed the closer you get to the front the rougher they are.

Very nice coaster. The first drop is intense and the diveloop gives great hangtime.
Great addition to the park.

This ride has everything a B&M ride should have in it. It may not be the fastest or tallest floorless coaster but it definatly is one of the best.

Really good ride. Nice steep lift and a surprisingly intense drop. Loop gives ok hang time, and the rest of the ride including the zero g roll are very enjoyable. Just a fun rerideable coaster. Exactly what this park needed.

The ride is alright, but no need to make a huge deal about it. Its similar to several other looping coasters, and yes it has NOTHING on Superman Ride of Steel. Still an ok ride, try the back, its good.

Batman: The Dark Knight is ALL THAT! The back is great, the front even better, really there is no bad seat this being a floorless. The ride is really compact, intense and "well coordinated". It is also a beautiful looking machine. The line winds in a cue behind the station, with cool music, pictures and descriptions of Batman and his supporting cast of heroes and villians. There is not too much room in the station itself, once you go up the steps you are basically on the next train. Loading is quick, seven car train seating four accoss, secure the over-the-shoulder restraint, the platform retracts -> dispatch. The lift hill is steep, maybe 45 degrees. You hit the top and get a nice view of the Connecticut River directly in front, and then quickly into the first drop and vertical loop, and away you go, the highlight being the zero-g roll but certainly the whole ride is a thrill. Bottom line is that this is a great coaster, and in my opinion finally makes SFNE legitimate.

After much thought, I decided that I had to revise my review. My original review gave it a 9, but after riding it more Ive reconsidered. Its a good compact floorless that gives an intense ride. So intense that my vision is always blurry at the end. But, this coaster lacks the consistency (smoothness) that Ive come to expect from a new B&M. I always ride in the same seat in the same row and my experiences range from a pleasantly smooth ride with little headbanging to a disappointing rough ride with a lot of headbanging. The station is very small and gets congested quickly when there is a line waiting for a particular row. All in all a good addition to the park.

compared to Medusa this ride is tops, in the intensity department that is. The ride keeps on hitting you with everything through the entire ride. its layout has a smaller foot print then any other floor-less. making it a likely coaster to be cloned, like its Inverted cousin. This is a great addition to the park. only down side is the coaster seems a bit rough wish is uncommon for B&Ms .

For my taste, Ive never really been into looping coasters. Ive always preferred a traditional coaster, no matter if its steel or wood. For me, its all about going up and down at high speed, feeling like youre going to get tossed out at any moment. I love the negative gs at the crest of a hill that loopers just dont have. So having said this it suprises me to say I think Batman is an excellent addition to the park. Yes, its a looping coaster, and I really enjoyed it. It has all the elements a larger floorless would have but in a smaller area. After the lift you dive sharply to the left (after the wierd little B&M "hump" down a very steep drop. The first element here is the 95 loop, after which you dive up what you think is a hill, only to turn upside down at the crest and dive down a half loop. You shoot around a (not quite overbanked) curve then enter the zero g roll, my favorite part of the ride. After this its two corkscrews and some curves and youre back at the station house, back from what is possiby the smoothest ride Ive ever experienced (except for some head banging during the last corkscrew). Not only is this coaster smooth, its the quietest coaster Ive ever come across. Standing 150 feet from Cyclone you here it screeching away, standing the same distance from Batman you wouldnt know its moving unless you looked at it. Batman will never be in any "top ten" lists, but for its size and what it tries to do, it does well.
