Im beginning to find that other B&M floorless coasters have not been living up to the pinnacle gold standard of Medusa. I was really excited for this ride because I have heard good and bad about it. I made sure to get over to the ride right after hitting up Superman. It was a walk-on. The themeing was the same as that of Superman: Ultimate Flight at Great Adventure with the signs of the characters only I found this queue to be more enjoyable considering there were trees and plants shading the area and the fencing was not a cheap hard plastic like that of Supermans at Great Adventure. Batman: The Dark Knight looked like a small and compact ride, but seemed like it really delivered a real kick. I like the name and the color scheme (I just figured I would throw that out there because I do like the colors on it). I loaded the train and up the lift we went. It was a very steep lift. The drop was short and offered no air. Then came what is possibly the absolute best loop that I have ever experienced. It felt like we hung at the very top of the loop for a second, creating a feeling of weightlessness. It was by far very entertaining. At that point I was really excited. Then came the dive loop, which had looked very good from my observations. Blah. This is where the ride started to go downhill and just plain flop. I could say it was boring, but Ill use the term lackluster. I knew it was going to be a short ride from seeing the track, but I thought the layout looked a lot more promising than what actually happened on the ride. There was some headbanging through the corkscrews and then the breaks. It was over before it started. Maybe I expected too much? I dont know. However, Im beginning to believe that it is going to be hard to find something that is better than Medusa. It is a good thing considering I can ride Medusa whenever I want, but on the other hand it is a little disheartening that I might be running into more rides like Batman: The Dark Knight along the way. Im not saying that it is a bad ride. It seems like it was a good addition for the park to make, but maybe the bar was set too high for me. Decent ride. It is reridable, but dont expect to get completely wowd by this one.

This is a fun ride. Its not too intense or exciting, but it made me want to ride it again. It was a bit too slow and short though. I dont know why people say it gets rough because it just taps you against the restraints a little. It doesnt really hurt or anything, so Id have to say this is a smooth little ride. I didnt think the drop was much more exciting than any other drop, and the ride ends way too fast. The Zero-G roll is awesome, and the corkscrews are taken at a very fun speed. I liked the dive loop. I would give this a 7.5 if I could, but I think this ride deserves a 7 more than an 8.

Floorless coasters are the only way to go. Fast and smooth. I was fortunate enough to have a gold q-bot, so I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get on. I could ride this over and over and never get bored. My only complaint is that its a bit short, and after going on it that many times I wanted it to be faster.

Awsome. Smooth. Good mix of loops and turns. Short. This ride is very short, but difinatly one of my favorites. There is a nice first drop, followed by a big loop so it doesnt hurt your head at all. Batman is so smooth, probably the most smooth coaster in the park (along with Superman).

This was an okey coaster. The drop was great, and the zero g spin was awesome. But it was way too short!

Im sorry but this just aint an awesome coaster. WAY TO SHORT. I mean yah, its got a good drop and loop in all but if you want to see a real floorless coaster go to rides like medusa. I gave this ride a six because of the fact it has some good parts in it. This coaster doesnt have any theming either, but you gotta expect not the best theming when u go to six flags. When u build a floorless coaster u cant expect it to be great just because its a floorless coaster

that is a very cool ride! We alwats have a qbot so the line is never a problem although it is pretty short.

While I am more a fan of wooden coasters, this one I enjoy very much. "Batman" is a very smooth-rolling ride which was designed to give the rider the impression that he or she is actually flying, performing aerobatics rather than trying to thrill through a hell-bent-for-leather ride. It is easy enough to ride with your hands up. So if you visit this park, get in line, strap yourself in and enjoy a ride that is exciting and suprisingly relaxing.
