i loved this coaster
it was short but sweet
and dont be put out by the fact that its short because that loop was the most amazing loop ever
its not on par with say hydra
but its still a solid coaster

Good, solid Floorless... except that it is incredibly short! Also, the station is very cramped... which results in not only an attendant "directing" what seat riders will be in (since there is no room to queue up at the gates in the station) but also causes "traffic" jams of riders trying to exit the ride.

Batman: The Dark Knight is a great floorless coaster. While it is a dwarf to other floorless coasters like Medusa, Batman still packs a punch. Admittedly, this is the only floorless I have ridden, so I cant compare it to any others. The ride is very compact, and short. Batman: The Dark Knight is no Superman, but it is still an excellent ride.

Batman - TDK just barely inches itself up to a 7 for me. Its floorless with open cars, mostly smooth, some pretty good theming with a nice looking station and its got one of my favorite inversions, the zero-g roll. Also, because of its capacity, like with most B&Ms the line should move fast. However, when I was at SFNE there wasnt a line. All these plusses add up to a Good coaster, but nothing more. The layout is pretty short and uninspiring, but at the same time its a good use of the little land they had to work with. Also, I dont really like compact looping coasters as they tend to have their inversions too close together. Thats not so much of a problem here with the first three inversions (vertical loop, dive loop, and the zero-g roll) but the B&M signature interlocking corkscrews are uncharacteristically rough. Theyre immediatley followed by the brakes and the rides over. Lastly, its compact size keeps the speed and intensity at a minimum. Which isnt completely a bad thing, but when I got off I wasnt like, "Wow that little coaster packed a punch". It was more like, "Okay. That was a B&M floorless." Still a good installation for any park. Final Rating - 7.0 (Good)

I have to admit that when Batman first opened I was unimpressed. There was just so much talk about it everywhere, the hype was never ending. In reality no coaster could live up to that amount of high expectation. But here we are three years later and I really love this smallest of floorless coasters. This impossibly smooth ride features five inversions including my all time favorite element: the zero G roll. How much do I like this element? Well frankly I dont care for looping coasters, I find going upside down underwhelming. But I LOVE the zero G roll, or at least how this coaster does it. Batman is designed so that all its elements are taken with a minimum of heavy "gs", so its actually a perfect coaster for those that want a fun but less intense experience. Batmans only problem is that like all floorless and inverted coasters, it tends to be a little too short. From the beginning of the lift hill to the brakes takes MAYBE one minute and twenty five seconds. This means that if two trains are running you WILL sit on the break run for a few seconds while waiting for the other train to leave, the coaster is just too short for the crew to have a train ready to go before the other has finished the course. If there is a line for this ride, dont worry, it usually moves rather fast.

I have to say that this ride is underrated. IMO, this was the second best ride in the park, next to Superman. The drop is good, the loops are fun, and the zero-g roll was,as always, awesome. I went on this ride 3 times when I went there. It never got old. So what if its a bit short, its great anyway. I like this better than Medusa at Great Adventure because this is more intense and packs more of a punch. Its cool how they had such a small space for this and made a great ride. A good addition to the park.

I must say I was a bit disappointed with this coaster. It was smooth, but it seemed to go too slow and there was very little airtime (even on the zero-g roll). I enjoyed the version at WB Movie World Madrid much more (same layout but inverted instead of floorless). I dont know if floorless coasters are that much slower than inverteds or if its the parks fault, but this is the weakest B&M coaster of the five Ive ridden so far.

Although this ride seems a bit too short, it is fun none the less. An extremly smooth ride (smoothest coaster at SFNE). The first drop was nothing special but the loop and the roll felt better than average. The generally short wait times is also a plus.

I think that Batman TDK is an underrated ride partially because it is smaller than and not as superb as Medusa, which is just a couple of hours away, and also because the locals are basically spoiled by Superman. Batman is very smooth and flows well between the elements. The lift is short and the first drop is merely ok, but then you hit the middle section with the vertical loop, the dive loop and the zero-G roll (which ROCK on Floorlesses, especially with your hands up). The last half was ok, the interlocking corkscrews are nice but not unique and overall its just another good, fun ride from B&M. To quote a super-intelligent fella, "even the worst B&M Floorless is still a good ride".Oh yea, the wait was < 30 minutes, and that was a very busy day, which is a plus.

A good addition to the park and much needed too, might I add. While it is short, this coaster makes up for it with intensity and packs a very unique and thrilling layout in a small space. I actually prefer this over Medusa @ SFGAdv because it is slightly smoother and less predictable. Wish it was longer though.
