The Maharajah Jungle Trek is the best walk-through attraction at Animal Kingdom. It is a well-themed, and well landscaped walk-through. This walk-through has excellent theming and it is themed to ancient ruins. The ride is always a walk-on, which is great at a park filled with long lines. Along your trek, you will see a variety of animals. My favorite animal was the tiger. I also enjoyed the bats, Komodo dragons, and the tapirs. Disney did an excellent job creating habitats for the animals, as all of them were active, and entertaining the guests. However, it is sometimes hard to see some of the animals if tons of people are in the walk-through at once. The trek itself is pretty long so you should be aware that it involves tons of walking. Overall, the Maharajah Jungle Trek was a very nice walk-through. I recommend this ride to everyone, unless they are scared of certain animals like tigers, tapirs, and a few others. Keep in mind you will have to do a lot of walking.
This was a fun walk thorugh safari with some exotic Asian animals. One highlight of the trek was the tigers and bats area. It was well themed and very interesting. I highly recommend this trek to people of all ages.
The Trek wasnt very interesting. When I went The Tiger area was under refurbishment. Only two parts were cool. The Bats and half horse half rino.
kool! tigers rocked!!! although some animals hard to see wen they r hiding up the back.....gr8 though,i had fun! otters r funny!! i finally saw a sloth!!! dont miss it!!
Its cool to see the animals in this walk through but usually they are hiding in the back and very rarely completely visible.
I did not see the whole thing, but its good to know Disney is not putting fake animals in the AK. Many miss it but its good.
This is a pretty cool walkthrough, but the only animals of interest were the tigers and the bats. Hit this in the middle of the day, because Animal Kingdom is a ton of walking anyways, and this trek is at least a mile in length. I enjoyed the African walkthrough better.
A good animal exhibit but Ive also seen better ones at Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. The tigers are nice along with the bats, but its still just a zoo attraction. The potential is there for animal kingdom, but they just keep missing. Even after a couple years when I look at these reviews I still feel the same way. I love zoos and parks, but this place does not seem to suceed with me. I do know I dont want animantronic animals like some have mentioned.
This was a cool walkthrough attraction with many animals. The first few animal areas there were no animals to be seen but from the bat area and on it was great! Of course the tigers were the best part. Everyone was crowding around that overlook of the tiger area so I walked down the path a bit to find an area with bairly anyone around and a great view of the tigers. One tiger just stared through the window at us for about 3 minutes, then he ran away once the meat was thrown in. I guess I know what the tiger was thinking about for all that time lol.
this was cool with all the neat animals
