Along with Kraken the only reasons I would go to Sea World. The surprises, and trick ending are amazing, te only time a flume ride has been enjoyable. I found the meniahcal laugh at the begining to be slightly humerous, but a great ride!
An ok flume ride, though WDW + Universal both have better ones.

A very cool water ride with an unexpected coaster element. A very original design with good themeing. Totally original and shouldnt be missed.
I wont debate whether this is a coaster or a log flume or both or whatever. Ill just say that regardless of this rides classifcation, its the best water based thrill ride Ive ridden. Though it doesnt have the epic water crash that Busch Garden Tampas Tangyanika Tidal Wave has, its leadup to the climax was far more interesting than the bland and uninspired themeing on Tangyanika. In fact, for someone unaware of the rides full design, one would expect the giant slide into the water flume outside in full view of the public WAS the climax. Rather, the very little water that gets you here is followed by water cannons blasting sheets on you in several volleys and a real surprise when the boat comes to a small (but very narrow and walled in) drop that bottoms the boat out making the water rise along the walls and directly back into the boat. No water ride has ever succedded in making my feet float inside my shoes. Both my wife and I were desperately seeking a dry spot on one anothers clothes to wipe out our eyes and not finding one. The ride then comes to another lift that takes you back into "Atlantis" and a short ride along another, much darker, special effect filled room. The ride seems to slow down to a nearly dead stop with nothing but utter darkenss hanging in front of you and suddenly you feel your body tilt forward with the boat with just enough time to see the little bit of sunlight creeping into the chasm the boat careens off into. At this point a neocoaster, I had a genuine pang of terror as the boat sails down sharply into a right then left sway that seems as though had you held your mouth wrong, the boat would have lifted up off the rails. Before you barely know whats just happened, the boat flys back up and outside into another water filled flume giving a decent dousing.
I always thought it was a generic "better safe than sorry" message on water rides when they had the line "You Will Get Soaked" in their menu. But this one lives up to the notion while also giving you a delightful, if superficial, Disneyesque special effects show.
A must ride at Seaworld. Better fun than Kraken in my experience.
This was the one ride at Sea Worl Orlando i had to do. Unfortunately the weather was extremely cold and most of my group chickened out. Only me and my friends brother went on it and it was worth it. The beginning has u looking everwhere at the scenery before you go into thrill mode. The build a lot of suspense before the drop. it seems like ur ready to drop but then u go up more. I however didnt get very wet (a couple drops) but it must have been where i was sitting (the girl in front of me was soaked). What makes this a 9 though is the end. To me the final drop was completely unexpected. Had i had more time a SWO i definately would have done it again.
This a great ride i like how it is a water ride and a roller coaster i also like the dark and fog affects
Unique ride with flume and coaster aspects. I like more thrill rides, but this is a decent ride. I like the water cannons at the bottom of the drop where you get to shoot water at the boats.lol
This is the best "big splash boat" rides ive ever been on. The building is awesome looking and the 2 drops are great! I remember when I went on it for the first time, the car stopped right before the second hill for like 3 minutes (i guess it was technical prob.) But when we finally started moving, the doors opened and I was greeted with that weirdly twisted/steep drop, lotsa fun!
I love this ride.U start out in darkness and then go up a lift ,take aturn and another lift and BOOM
YOU ARE AT THE BOTTOM BEFOR U KNOW IT
This Ride Is Awesome But It is Filled with Terror You never Know What Is Coming And It Feels Like You are Really In Atlantis. You Get Soaked On This Ride But Is Awesome Let Me Fill You In This Is A Must Ride as you start out you are in a old Fishing Boat and then the Ride Starts You Drop Down a Maybe 5 foot drop through mist and then you here a girl start Talking Then She Says "Dont Be Afraid" Then She Laughs With A Evil Laugh and then There Are These Statues That Are Shooting Water Out and then you climb a hill right by the road you are high like about 60 feet and then you enter a building with a flame on top but you are not there for long. there you drop right out of that building a drop that is 60 feet and one of the steepest drops in the world into a splash. Then you slow down and go down a little drop the the girls says "Leaving So Soon, I Think Not" Then More Evil laughs then you Climb Up Another 60 feet and then you go through the buildingthen she says "No,No,No" Then You Do A Twisted Rollercoaster Drop And On A Rollercoaster track Then You Turn And Drop And get Soaked Again.
Most of The ride Is Indoors and Themed To Atlantis Try This Ride Out By Penguin Encounter and Kraken at Sea World Florida
