When u think of Sea world you wouldnt think that there would be a top 50 coaster in the world, but this definitely is a great ride. U could easily put this in a six flags park, no lines

Just like any suspended roller coaster ride. Nothing special about the floorless part or flips. Good first drop, and the rest is average. Not worth $52 admission price.

A true legend - front seat is good, but for the best rush go for the back seat - it pulls you through the drop after the lift hill - lovely!

Excellent coaster. Pretty much your "classic" steel model - lotsa looping, some fine drops, a bit of subterranean action. The "floorless" aspect adds a little to it.

Kraken is an awsome floorless coaster. 7 inversions and smooth as silk. Easily beats the Hulk in my book as the elements seem to flow better. I arrived at the park for the opening so the coaster was a walk-on and re-rides were no problem.

A good coaster, but we have TWO almost exactly like it here in CA. I think Orlando coasters need to be more innovative, like the Hulk or Dueling Dragons.

Im willing to admit that three previous days straight of over a dozen Kumba, six or seven Montu, several Gwazi, and several Scorpion rides at Busch Gardens Tampa had my head and neck a little stiff. But I found Kraken to be far less than I had read it to amount to.

Both my wifes jaw and my own dropped when we drove into view of Kraken well into the night last Monday evening. As anyone here who is a coaster fanatic knows, (myself newly so, Georgia Cyclone my first coaster ever at the age of 24 last year), that pictures are misleading in terms of scale. Of all the coasters we have seen as yet, this one best represents coasters as "art". It truly appeared as though some pale blue sea serpent had coiled itself into the night skyline. And what a big one at that.

The line was nonexistent though the park had a healthy showing that day. We only had to wait for one train to return before we were in the back row. The drop is the most magnificent part of the entire ride to me. I may be mistaken, but the angle of descent seemed steeper than any other we have ridden yet. The loops were great fun, as always, but after being enamored for days with Kumba and Montu, they didnt blow me away though. The zero G roll, though touted as about the best element in the ride, was my least. I didnt feel weightless so much as a ragdoll slammed around in my seat. Not fun, just disorienting. I preferred Kumbas zero G roll and Montus 360 degree camelback wastes this rides attempt. Again, maybe my body was overworn. The diving headchoppers didnt impress, but the dive into the Krakens lair really gave the impression of imminent decapitation, and the swirling exit was very nice also.

By no means a bad ride. I gave it a fair shot by riding it around seven times since line was soo bare, but it only got more painful and unexciting each time. We got the front twice (definitely best seat here) and was twice as thrilled. From my (certainly mislead) perception, my feet seemed but inches from the rails. A good scare in itself.

A must ride if youre at Seaworld, but not worth admission alone even with the wonderful Journey to Atlantis just next door. I have a year pass and hope to return to the park sometime later this year to give it a second trial.

What can I say about Kraken!? It is insane. The whole ride is magnificently themed and very long. The speed is superb, the drops are fast, the brake run hardly slows the train down, great g forces, and best of all, it has 7 inversions! This has beaten Wildfire as being my favorite coaster. The only drawback is that it is 20 hours away from home.I wish the mist in the tunnel was working when we went, but the ride was just as good. Great job Sea World!

Amazing ride and the best floorless coaster ive been on.Waited the extra time for the front seat. What i loved (other than the multiple inversions and speed, this coaster felt fast) was that it was long. I would put this as the best coaster in Orlando.
