Pretty bad coaster in my opinion. This one has roomier cars than other kiddie coasters, but this one was pretty bumpy throughout and there was a pretty rough jolt on the final turn. Also, Dutch Wonderland gives two circuits.

The Joust is just an average kiddie coaster at Dutch Wonderland. This Chance Big Dipper across from the Sky Princess is one of my favorite kiddie coasters I have been on. Located to the far right side of the park, this compact, purple coaster generally is a walk-on. Riding in 12 passenger trains, the best seat is the front because of the views. You are restrained by a silver lap bar. During the ride, you hear medieval music thats played from a speaker in the middle of one of the helixes. Also, next to the speaker is a nice-looking knight. The rides layout is simple. You travel up a short lift hill and go down the short curving drop to the left. Following that are 2 consecutive turn-arounds and a quick turn low to the ground ending the ride. There are some rough spots for adults and a few bunny hops. You get 2 circuits on the Joust. Overall, an average kiddie coaster that adults can ride. Anyone who wants to try this small coaster should as it was a good kiddie coaster.

Not a good coaster at all, but still its at least another coaster to go on at Dutch Wonderland. Just a plain kiddy oval that goes around probably 5 times. Not even as close to being fun like Sky Princess. Then again, Dutch Wonderland really doesnt have a lot of rides to bring people in anyway. They havent added a new coaster since 1998 w/this coaster.

Kiddie oval. Round and round we go, over the speed bumps. (Check that one off on my track record).

Nice little coaster for riders of all ages. I think two laps is standard on this one. Exact same coaster with different theme can be found at Wild Adventures called Gold Rush.

Not a terribly exciting coaster by any means, but yet not a terrible coaster either. This "family" coaster is one step up from a kiddie coaster in the fact that adults can comfortably ride it. Its short track is laid out in sort of an "over and under" type of pattern. While short, the good news is that (at least on the day I was there) they send you through the circuit twice. One thing I did noticeā€¦ it does jar you around a bit. This is a good coaster for the "young ones" who are a bit too old for kiddie coasters but yet not quite brave enough for larger coasters.
