Best Schwarzkopf Ive been on by far. This monster of a coaster is definitely Galaxylands star attraction. The lift hill comes very close to the roof and the first drop was insane, as it was steep and twisted. Following that was a massive turnaround that really piled on the Gs. Afterwards was another insane drop much like the first, followed by two of the most intense vertical loops Ill ever experience on a coaster, as they were taken at very high speeds. Then came some more twisted hills, followed by yet another intense loop that pinned me to my seat. Following that were some fast helixes low to the ground that had some strong Gs. Making it even more thrilling, the back car is facing backwards, and I rode it in the back and it was one of the most intense coaster experiences Ive ever had.

Absolutely stunning ride. When it was built it had one of the most insane drops of its time, and nothing has changed! This r/c is one of Anton Schwarzkopf s best ever. For those who are not familiar with Schwarzkopf, he was one of the most celbrated metal rollercoaster designers ever. He pioneered the vertical loop and his loops are his signature. Some of have criticised his rides as being too rough, but this only makes them all the more intense! The mindbender is no exception, the first drop of 126 ft goes straight into one of the most powerful loops of any coaster. When you realize that Schwarkopf was given a small space in which to place his coaster you will understand why it gives such a powerful ride! The mindbender is by far an excellent coaster, it is extremely exciting to roar through the last loop around a walkway! I reccomend this ride to experienced riders who want an exhilirating ride. (Side note, this coaster has been rated one of the safest rides in the world after extensive modifications and superb maintenance) Its too bad theres so much restraints on this train, I wish safety people would realize that over the shoulder restraints are not needed on looping trains, centrifugal force will keep you in your seat.

I rode this coaster dozens of times growing up, then again last July, minutes after my wedding. For an indoor coaster, it has a big 127 foot drop. Because of the enclosure, its also quite loud. The restraint system is overkill (you can barely move your arms), but necessary to maintain the confidence of locals with long memories. :uhoh: (The wheels, restraints and maintenance procedures were totally revamped - its now one of the safest coasters in the world.) Riding in the back, your head might bang against the shoulder restraints. Large people (+ 6 4" find the shoulder restraints tight and uncomfortable. But most people (including myself) will love this great looping coaster.

Very good layout and very good use of space for an indoor coaster. Problems with the restraints though. the incidents with this coaster have forced them to put terrible "manhattan express" restraints on this ride. they avtually leave bruises on your shoulders and ride can be very painful with the whiplash if you are not in the front seat. overall, very interesting and different.

This coaster has an Iregulur intensity that most coasters such as the much bigger millenium force dont have. All of its hairpin turns twists and large amount of inverts give it a high positive g-force and creats a more thrilling ride than most coasters
