This is definitely not one of the most enjoyable experiences Ive ever had on a coaster. It begins with an old-fashioned spiral lift hill which is pretty interesting to see. The drops are pretty fun, but then once you enter the enclosed section of the ride it gets very loud. Its a wild mouse that goes through the sharp turns very quickly causing a very loud screeching noise. The noise echoes around you because that part is indoors. If you disregard the noise though, Wizard’s Cavern is a fun little ride.
The Wizards Cavern was a cool little wild mouse/dark ride combo... in concept that is. Definitly striving for that Space Mountin effect. It wasnt very dark. It was very rickety. And it basically felt like one of those portable carnival rides. Its a shame its gone though, I always liked the look of it. Seaside can use as much character as it can get.
Pretty original coaster. The rotor lift hill is worth the admission. A strange combination of dark ride & coaster. The potential it has is amazing. The potential wasted is even more amazing.
Not too bad for its age, but not very good by any standards, it is annoying, boring and doesnt exactly feel good either.
very very olddd ride! if you look at the tracks the cars sit on top of it instead of the wheels going around it.. and they even use hand brakes! this ride used to be completely in the dark but now u can see the track when your inside it and it almost ruins the ride completely. i do like the one turn inside where you think you are going to run into a fan.. very kool but kinda short and too many tickets for a crappy old ride!
This ride is one proper jelopy! I strongly recommend to the owners to either get rid of this THING and replace it with a PROPER German Geisterbahn or completely rebuild the luv bugs to its former glory as well as adding lots of fog spinning disco lights and a new paint job. This THING has been rotting on Casino Pier for years... its about time something is done here.
This thing was pretty fun and odd. You go up a weird spiral lift and then a drop, then you go through "the wizards cavern"...which is like 3 dark halls with courrigated steel sheeting on the sides...thats the weirdest cavern ive ever seen! All in all its a wild mouse type ride in the dark. Too bad its gone though, it was a real classic.
Pretty cool coaster you are almost in total darkness only 2 drops though mostly boring.
This coaster is essentially an indoor wild mouse with a long drop. Its a fun old ride that has a wierd, spiral column-driven lift hill and it actually uses hand breaks, which is interesting considering its steel. Originally built at Cedar Point, the ride now makes its home here.
