I think the scenery was done really well, but the rapids and theming were a lot better on Popeye and Grizzly River Run and even White Water Canyon at PKI had a better atmosphere and enviroment traveling through the woods. The line was also too long for the ride being as short. Its just ok, but you do get wet sometimes depending where you sit.

I have ridden a number of raft rides at other parks and I cant help but review each by comparing it to the others. Thunder Canyon was fun and certainly had a lot of churning water. In the final analysis, though, Ive ridden better. The Congo River Rapids at Busch Gardens Tampa and the Bilge Rat River Barges at Islands of Adventure, both deliver a far better rafting adventure with more thrills, chills, and spills. The Congo River Rapids is especially good in the way that it sends waves crashing over the raft. I missed those kinds of effects on Thunder Canyon. Still, its a good way to cool off on a hot day.

Great fun, always 2 seats that dont get wet. I like the theming, Im just not huge on these type of rides.

Good ride with good theme, I got really wet because I went under almost every water fall, this ride doesnt usually have a wait, so Id ride it if I were their.

Went on this one a long time and dont remember much- but its worth a shot.

You get soaked in every seat, a great water ride, lines go fairly fast, but then again in the summer, lines can also be pretty long. Nice water ride though.

A good raft ride if you want to get completely soaked.
