This is actually a really good ride. It the best ride if it is your first time on a roller coaster it is not scary at all but it is a beginners ride. Thats all
This small roller coaster was fun because it is unique with sharp turns and has a woods scenery. It can really surprise you by the looks if you never rode it before.
wonderful for begginers at the coaster. it may not have a jaw-dropping first drop, but it shows that turns and speed have value too. I like the surprising snap on the first turn. :o
A great ride. Very unique and some comfortable seating. Spacious seating for me is always a plus on a ride that doesnt pack tons of thrills. I hope they never take this ride down.
A very unique ride that is worth riding. Try to reach for the trees in the ending helix.
It was my very first roller coaster, how can I not show it some love? So what if it doesnt have any steep drops. It still gets pretty fast (especially at night) and "whizzes" you awfully close to the trees and the ground. The chain lift is cool (well a better word would be unique) too. I only wish this ride would last longer. Thank you SFGA for not taking this one away from me.
Whizzer is a great "starter" for the younger ones. Whizzer goes around lots of trees and over water comining within 1 foot of the ground. The final helix is intense too. Whizzer can develop a line very quickly and the best time to enjoy riding would be at night.
Definitely a lot of fun to ride, Whizzer is a great coaster for families, kids, and couples (
). I personally enjoy it as a break from the larger coasters in the park, and will try to always take at least one circuit on it when I visit the park. The lift is leisurely, the first drop induces a deceptive amount of speed, and the twists and turns through the trees and underbrush are a lot of fun. Overall, try to at least take one ride. If you miss it, you wont necessarily be missing out on any thrills...but you will be missing out on a classic and enjoyable experience that is quite a tradition at SFGAm.
Im sure it was a good idea to keep this ride instead of Shockwave, but this is still nothing to rave about. It is one of those not important coasters but it was fun, and it drawed more of a crowd than Demon did.
Nice ride and fun also. This, Demon and American Eagle were 3 of my favorite experiences at Great America because these are older rides.
