This coaster has something for everyone. It starts out as an out and back, and finishes as a twister, and does both pretty well, but niether is outstanding. Sitting up front, and I found the the first half of the ride was an airtime filled romp, but the second half of the ride was dull and forceless. The back was just the opposite, it starts off slow, but when it hits those twists at the end, watch out, you are going to be thrown back and forth like a rag doll.

However, all of this makes for a coaster that fits very well with this park. It is not too big, not too long, and not too wild for this resort town play place.

Excellent coaster. Fast and fun. A little bit unevenly paced (most of the big thrills are up front, the last part seems a bit lack luster compared to the first, but still superior to most coasters), but still a great ride.

I literally just got back from riding this thing 20 times( Is Funtown always this dead on a Sunday??, if so I am going more often. Every ride was a walk on, including this one!), and I rank it atop all other woodies in NE except the awesome Boulder Dash. The first drop is excellent, with great airtime in the back, and the second and third drop are great as well, with a good headchopper effect on the latter. After a low airtime hill, you head back up for the most interesting drop..................a short 35 footer that seems to twist a bit to the left on the way down. Next you hit two small but fairly intense helices, followed by a short dip and rise up to the brake run.

For a park that is little more than a glorified fairground, this thing is a grand slam. The back seat is definitely the money seat, keeping your rear end off the seat all the way down, and you get some great laterals in the high turnaround before the second drop. Definitely worth checking out of you are up in this area, especially if the park is dead. In a busy day, however, be advised that there is only one train, so the wait could be unpleasant. They have the drop listed at 80 feet, but the lift is 100, and the drop travels to the ground, so it has to be more like 95....with the second being in the mid 60s. The rest of the ride hovers in the 35-40 foot range, tucked in a pine forest...giving the coaster a surprisingly woody setting considering it is located just off a busy highway and near the ocean. I liked it, and will defnitely hit it again before the season ends. How this great CCI coaster ended up here and not at Canobie Lake or SFNE is baffling.

Ive been on a few wooden coasters, and I think this is my favorite. It keeps you in your seat a lot, and what a great first drop. It combines different styles of woodies on a large parcel of forest. My favorite seat is the back seat on the left side, riding single; provides some amazing latteral Gs on one of the last corners. Ive ridden this coaster, Id guess, over 300 times, what a ride.

A great wooden coaster. The problem is no one has ever heard of it. An amazing first drop with some great airtime. The second half of the ride drags out a little a bit but a spectcular ride nevertheless.

Suprisingly good wooden coaster. While riding in the front, the first half of the ride is incredible with a good amount of airtime, but the ride goes downhill from there. Riding in the back is an airtime filled out of control experience. I felt like I was being launched on the first two drops. I give it a 8 for the front seat and a 10 for the back seat so overall it gets a 9.

This ride is a real gem. The ride is fast has airtime and good Lats. I rode this 45 times in two days (ERT through ACE). The ride is well designed and there are parts in which you don't know were you're going. A great ride and a great start to a quickly growing park. only real down side is the last half is a tad bit slow.

I was ambivalent about this ride in 2001, liking it a lot but almost wishing I could start the ride in the front seat and then move to the back halfway through... this year though I got some excellent full course rides in the back, especially at night. I like the way the entire train releases from the chain before the drop, it really yanks you over the edge from in back. The figure-8 at the end could be a bit faster maybe, but for what seems to be intended as a family coaster, this is a *very* good ride.

This is a great ride! The first half of the ride is full of airtime while the second part is all laterals. Very fun, especially in the back seat, left side. The best part of the ride is about halfway through. The train climbs a hill before making a right turn. Just when you think that there is no airtime, this huge pop of air comes out of nowhere. The last dip of the ride great in the front seat- the train powers through it. One of the best aspects of the ride is that the speed never lets up. Even going into the station at the end of the ride is very fast. Must ride.
